As a former geek, I believe there are, as usual, two divisions, and one of those has been 'into guns' forever. When I took a class from Bayprofs, my instructors were 'geeks'. Gene Hoffman is a geek. Eric Raymond is a geek, perhaps an uber-geek.

In Sacramento, it's just amazing how many shooters are computer jocks of one kind or another, and lots in other kinds of high tech. It's not something I would have expected, but here, it's true.

Not sure on Bay Area Pricing, but I got a similar deal from Living Social, except mine was four hours classroom and fours hours range time, but only with .22 SA handguns and revolvers for $ 86. I do think more range time would be better.

Perhaps not entirely (as BonnieB says, an objective). Geek jobs left me, I didn't volunteer.

Married to a Space Geek, does that count? Anyone who knows the full crew, mission, vehicle and rocket used in the Space Program from the Original 7 all the way up to the Shuttle missions has GOT to be a geek right?

Mega geek here as well (my guns are named after characters in SciFi shows). Geek bf got me into the hobby. Sometimes there's a debate as to who is the bigger geek.
