Default Turner's deal - Ruger 10/22s

Just got an email for the Turner's weekly deals 11/30-12/6.

Ruger 10/22 synthetic with fiber optic front sight
$189.98

Ruger 10/22 stainless
$199.98

Says only 300 available, might want to act quickly if you're in the market for a Ruger 10/22.

That's a good. I paid $199 during their "Ruger Days" sale.

Lately, Ruger has been doing some crazy sales on their guns at Turner's. A little over a month ago, they had this deal. However, even though they said they only had 200 total available, that is BS. I went in on a Friday afternoon, same day the ad was valid, and bought one and they said I bought the last one... yeah right. I see people the next week on a Tues and Wed saying they also just bought one from Turners, so their "xxx number available" is kind of BS and used more of a marketing ploy to get you to jump now at the price.

** and NO, this sale price below is no longer valid

Just got back from throwing the stainless in jail. So good looking out.

It's been a good week. Ordered some ammo, threw a 10/22 in jail today, and picking up a 870 tomorrow.

Once again, the perks of Socal. No Turners/Cabelas/Bass Pro/ Etc. anywhere around here.

I'll be heading to the Chino Hills one when they open. Now to decide whether to spend the extra $10 for the stainless...

I actually sold my 10/22 earlier this year. I had it in one of those Marauder G36 kits and it was fun to shoot. But it didn't get much use since I had a dedicated .22lr AR.

Now I'm thinking about buying the stainless version and just holding on to it. With tax and DROS that's still less than $250 OTD.

That's the lowest I've seen. If you don't have one yet, it's a must to get one. Cheap and fun shooters.

I showed this ad to my son and said, "Look at this! A gun you can shoot!"

(He tends to buy into the "bigger is better" thing, so he buys large caliber, expensive ammo guns that he never shoots because..well...the damn ammo is so expensive!)

I went to lunch, got a Del Deluxe Beef Burrito and a 10/22 in SS. Under $250 OTD for both.

How is the finish on the black 10/22? I'm not too fond of the stainless look, but I do like the fact that it is stainless for only $10 more, and also a shorter 18.5" barrel compared to the 20" barrel. But the black 10/22 has a fiber optic front sight.

Will a SS finish on the 10/22 hold up a lot better over time compared to the standard black 10/22? Is the resale value better on the SS parts? I would probably end up swapping it out for a .920" target sized barrel.

I heard some of the salesman say the blued was already sold out, but also I think I heard they would accept a lay-a-way for when they return to stock.

There was 60 SS in stock about 1:30pm when I DROSed.

+1. Mid-90's, 10/22's would go on sale at Turners & Big5 for $99. Chinese SKS's as well.

Prices on everything took the biggest jumps in the last 5 years. Looks like they will never come back.

WWB ammo at WallyWorld used to be $9.99/9mm and $12.99/45ACP...and these were the 100 round packs. Prices went up and are now "back down" to 2-3x that in only 5-7 years.

The "good 'ole days" seem like they are gone for good.

That is with $35 DROS and 8% tax? (It's 8.5% here, dont know how much is it where you bought it, but I assume it can't deviate that much.)
