When Lomalinda lived in CA, he had an Uzi with a .22lr conversion kit in it.

Check out the Turner holiday ad. They have them for sale at: 569.99$.

I am interested in the Umarex HK 416 or a Sig 522. Can't decide!

Sig 522, nothing but great reviews. Wonder if they ship with sights now though?

HK 416, does the bolt hold open or is it as useless as the bolt release on the Colt Umarex ? Read something weird about the HKs sights, as in you have to file down the front sight, is this correct or FUD?

I saw one at a shop in the Bay Area a few weeks ago. Looks so weird with the long barrel.

I thought that was a cool design, but my next purchase will probably be an SR-22.

Maybe down the road, as $25 can let like 3 people shoot all day w/rimfire... just not yet for me.

Sig 522 ships with sights and it is probably the best made semi-auto .22 out there and the most reliable. More reliable than a 10/22 even.

I hear mixed reviews on other brands.

I thought OAL had to be no less than 26''? Or does that just apply to center fire rifles?

The rifle gear site says 24.4''-31.5''

While both Uzi's and Mac's feature telescoping bolts and stamped sheetmetal construction, there is a world of difference between the two in design and "style". Uzi's have style; Mac's are rectangular boxes with pistol grips

I have the Uzi 22 in stock.

They are not offered with ten rounders so some shops may not want the hassle of blocking the mags, which would account for scarcity.
