Here's my bench which is built on top of a 10+ year old B&D Workmate 225 bench. The wood is 3/4 inch oak plywood and the base of the table is 2 pieces sandwiched together with glue and screws.

I've discovered that I might need to move my press over to the right some more because I can't sit centered in front of my bench without the press lever hitting my leg and chair. I'm dreading having to drill new holes and use wood filler to patch up the old ones.

Very stable

That's pretty cool.

I just bought a 650 to upgrade to from my 550 and I'm going to have to build something to fit the casefeeder and all in my basement. It's about a 5' 10 ceiling down there to the floor beams above and I won't have enough height on my normal reloading bench for it all. I'll either have to shorten the case feeder or build a shorter side bench and almost load sitting on the ground lol.

How did you shorten it? Does it still keep up with you loading pistol? How about rifle (223)?

I'm very impressed by all of the setups, especially the dedicated garage/spare room jobs. Thanks for being willing to share your hard work and give us ideas for our own projects.

I'm currently working on my own project in the garage based on a work bench and Dillon Square Deal B given to me by my father. Thanks to Dillon Precision for the fast turnaround on a refurbishing job. Anyone wondering about how to justify the price for a Dillon product need only to ask an owner about their awesome experiences with Dillon customer service.

I'll post up pics when I've cranked out the first 100 rounds. Cheers.

Default Making Room

My old reloading setup consist of a 60" work bench I bought from Harbor Freight. Today I went to Lowes and picked up a heavy duty 5 tier shelving unit. I built them side by side as pictured. Having the extra room will be nice. On the wood bench I have my Redding Big Boss which I will be using for .308 and test loads of my pistol rounds. On the new bench will reside a Dillon XL650 which should be arriving later next week. More pics to follow.

Great looking setup, do you just have one for each caliber or....? Why not just use caliber conversions?

Though the fabric is nylon. It is not printed everything is sewn and embroidered down to the stripes.

My parents are awesome. Made some room to set this up tonight and it's pretty damn sturdy. This is the fold-up work bench(72") from Home Depot that cost $60 during the Black Friday weekend:

I weigh 165-170lbs and I did a "dip" on the corner of the bench. It will work for my Rockchucker supreme
I'm not sure what length I need yet but I'll probably get some 3/8" hex bolts, nuts & washers on Tuesday.

Like I said, it's probably just me.

Anyhoo...here are a few pictures of my set-up.

The desk was designed and built by myself, and it is located in my office.

I have a Dillon XL650, and a Hornady 366 Auto shotshell loader.

Shoot with a purpose.

PS: You should consider making this a sticky thread.

PSS: If you don't have pictures, please don't waste our time by "describing" your reloading bench. Let's keep this an "eye candy" thread.

Raymond, I don't recall how to find the reloading bench pictures but they are here abouts somewhere. I was just admiring your awesome set up. Well built and quite organized. Thank you brother.

Also in Christ: Mark

I need to add the LED lighting in or near both of my presses. I had seen someone on CG's post pictures in a reloading thread that was using LED strips that lit up the dark recesses really well.

I bought a used bench on Craigslist for $25. Painted the legs black and upholstered the surface. I built and upholstered the top and shelf, also added a pegboard. Cost me about $75 when it was all said and done.....

Great thread. Just getting setup but here is my bench. I made it from scrap bed frames, left over plywood, some Formica and the blue t-track from Rockler.

Oh, I know its a bit over the top, but I made the punisher flag too with a PC, projector a paint brush some fabric paint and a piece of black cloth.

Thanks. Not an original idea but it makes it easy to add/change the whole thing with minimal work. The t-track is bolted all the way through both sheets of the plywood and in some cases the steel rails. The bench is VERY solid. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.
