Jon,
Live in south San Jose. Born and raised in Ca, with a few years in Oregon.
Currently looking for full-time employment.
BS in accounting, 2 years studying CompSci & 10+ years doing PC builds/troubleshooting (Computer geek).
Considering looking into seeing if any local gun shops need workers. 4yr retail in college.

Just getting into shooting, learning all I can.
Currently own a Mossberg 500 and a Ruger 10/22.
Looking to get a Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 and Glock 17 9mm for myself, and some sort of semiauto 20ga and handgun for the wife. An EBR down the road if they are still able to be acquired.
Inherited an Arisaka (no mum), and a Winchester pump22 (not sure of model) from my father.

Other interests: Avid reader, prepping/emergency readyness, 2A rights, terrible puns and olde earth tech.

Don't get too many calibers, you'll go bust on ammo alone

Sorry for offtopic

Wow, so many members in the Bay Area! What are you guys doing for meets and shoots? Got any regularly scheduled ones going? You guys should organize an official Bay Area chapter so you can get goodies and support from the SoCal organization.

In Sacramento, we're getting organized now, for regular monthly shoots, night trap shooting, shoot'n'que etc.

I hear you guys run a good shoot 'n que over at Chabot in the Berkeley Hills. Anyone been there? I think Ivanimal runs them. I hear they are awesome.

Living in the Bay Area for 20(?) years. Live in the south bay and I try to hit Reed's about once a week.

If you see a guy with a CalGun sticker on his hardcase or a CalGun luggage tag say HI.

(I'm gonna hit Reeds on Thursday night if you folks wanna shoot)

Love guns, probably one of the few vegetarian/vegan gun owners on CalGuns.

Larry from SJ
Born and raised in SJ, been shooting everyone else's stuff for years, finally purchased first gun 2 years ago, up to 4 now.
Work: Benefits Analyst
Currently own, Mossberg 500 - mainly for trap shooting, Ruger 10/22, SA XD9, and newest acquisition is a Kimber Stainless II

I hit up Reeds every weekend since getting the XD in July this year, and I've been an avid pb player for about 20 years. So I own 4 lethal guns and about 14 non lethal.

Future build is an AR...assuming I still can get parts
