Default AAA's in Vallejo

Is this standard at most/all gun shops in Ca?

EDIT!! hahaha..my bad...

8. When you purchase or pick up your firearm, you will need to perform a safety demonstration with the gun you are purchasing, in the store.
This requires that you follow all safety rules, checking to see that the firearm is unloaded, removing a trigger lock from the gun, loading a dummy round into the gun and chambering the round, and unloading and relocking the firearm

It's a requirement. The shop is supposed to demo and they you repeat. It's fairly basic stuff.

You should have signed a document, stating you went through the required steps.

Now that you've edited your post, yes, that is standard. That is state law, actually.

Gun stores in urban areas really have to follow the regs to not get shut down. Because it is the guns that are bad not the poeple doing the killing in the ghetto.

Depends which LGS you go to. Some workers have you do it, some don't. Sometimes, I run into the same worker at a LGS that had me do it before, but didn't have me do the safety check on my next visit. Then I'll run into a new employee and they make me do it. Some of them are really apologetic about it and I just straight up tell them that it's okay. It is what it is and he's just doing his job.
