Holy cow! That is one helluva collection.

Is that door enough security for that many guns?

Never enough security.

It's a steel door, hinges are not the type you pop out, need a special tool for them. Bolt is steel. I have another piece upstairs in my bedroom for defense, 2 dogs, Alarm system, cams, somebody is always here, neighbor is a cop , and other neighbor is a work from home guy. Currently working or trying to figure out something for inner door frame. Maybe a steel cage that Slide into the wall. 2 other "top secret" rigs around the door.

Man, I'd love to have a setup like that one day. Showroom like display, I'd probably spend hours just sitting in there. Bet it would be quite therapeutic.

Good job man!

I'll Bite! Here is the happy family!

Top from bottom:
-Stag Arms Model 8
-Sig Sauer SP2022 .40S&W
-Krag Jorgensen Model 1898
This was my great grandfathers, was his issued rifle I'm told. Recently handed down, not fired (or cleaned) in 60ish years...needs to be restored
-Stevens break barrel shotgun, stamped 1913 (not sure of the model) Again recently handed down with the Krag Jorgensen, not fired (or cleaned) in 60ish years needs a restore

So cfusionpm, technically since your newest addition is so new and not pictured with the rest of the family. Is that the equivalent of sitting at the kiddie table? haha

Nice collection but if your objective is to stop them from being stolen, the fancy lock doesn't make up for the generic and probably hollow core door.

I guess you missed the part of the thread where he talks about what the door is made out of.

You're right though that it is a very nice collection.

Nothing but papers and junk under my stairs...

Thanks for the love guys! It's been quite the journey collecting my pieces tons of hours on-line and tons of research. I have also build my own which helps the spread the spending a little. I guess you can consider me also a certified para legal by now with all the reading I have done on CA firearm regulations.

No Wife and no kids helps also. .

Big shutout and thanks to:
* San Jose Gun Exchange
* Bay Area Gun Vault
* My new home close to home Tracy Rifle & Pistol

They have all been beyond great with me. They put up with my silly questions, as well as friendly purchases and transfers at all 3 locations.
