Still moving ahead. Just trying to figure out the least amount of fixturing and tooling changes. Not sure if we will use one mill for drilling and one for milling. The 3-axis CNC we will be using does not change its own tools. Does any one have a problem with the trigger hole in the bottom the lower being 3/8" instead of 5/16", it would save one tool change and not affect function of lower. You would never know it was not mil. spec unless you had calipers.

Are you thinking of having a CNC mill for the major cutouts and a drill press for the holes through the sides? Or have the CNC do it all?

Personally, I would much rather have the trigger holes at mil. spec, even if it took a little longer.

CNC will be used to do the FCG pocket and manual mill will be used to drill the trigger pin, hammer pin and selector holes.

Ok, was hoping to have everything ready by the end of the month. It looks like it will be more towards the later part of Dec. I want to make sure there are no issues. I will have raw 80% lowers and lower parts kits available. Be patient guys, I will keep you updated.

Nothing set in stone, but should be consistent with pricing from retailers. Time on the mill will be similar.

Had a productive weekend. Machined a couple of lowers and everything turned out pretty good. There are a few small things to work out as far getting everything in line to minimize liabilities. So stay tuned. Sorry about the crappy phone pics.
