If they get their act together and prove themselves to be righteous, then I might order from them in the future. I am confident in my credit card company lol.

I cancelled my earlier order when I was getting close to the 60-day window for disputes. If they get their act together, I will definitely give them another chance.

Anyone willing to give these guys their business after the BS they pulled on us is, IMO, very foolish. Then again it is your money and you can give it to whomever you support. They can play the excuse game all they want. I find it extremely difficult to support a company that lies to it's customers.

My best advice to anyone thinking about trying out this company for the first time is just be warned that you may never see your ammo, but one thing is certain, they will gladly take your money.

incredible that they are still shipping. I thought that they aren't shipping any more.
I called my CC and they were less than helpful. Call Well fargo (CC) and was told that they would look into it even though it was past the 3 or 4 month period. After a week of wait nothing from the CC so I emailed them. Got a call later and was told that the case was closed but was not told of outcome.

I'm order 19xx

I talked to the new management at Jack Ross on Monday, he called me back from a vm I left last week asking about my order. I had forgot about it.

He told me he WOULD get me my ammo, just not anytime soon lol, estimated 6+ months to get to my number.

I am probably too late with my CC card anyway, he sounded like a stand up guy that wants to do what he can to get me my product. So we'll see!

God bless all of you with forgiving hearts willing to still do business with these people. You're better men than I. I despise them and how they've treated me. They're on my permanent not-getting-a-christmas-card list FOREVER.

At least you were able to talk to someone. Seems like an improvement over the old management's "silent policy".

My range just started carrying the reloads so I think that is where their priority is right now. I did attempt to dispute the charge with my credit card company in which it was resolved, yet I never received a credit. Not long after that about a month, I received an email indicating my order was shipped. If you really want to see what this ammo is all about check it out at the ranges (I think many ranges are going to start to use Jack Ross reloads). For me ... the ammo is not that special for the amount of time I've had to wait which was close to 7 months. If they had not billed me first before they shipped I would not have been so disappointed.

I received mine about six months ago. I ordered 2k of .40. So far my guns dont like it. I get a FTF everyone in a while. Then from time to time Ill get a case that looks like its been smashed after shooting it. Ive ran it through three guns and same results across the board.

Anyone get any updates? My order #987, placed in late March of 2012.

I received an email today, stating that they do not know when my order will be fulfilled due the lack of components. I understand that with the panic buying has left many companies unable to fill orders. But this is getting beyond freakin ridiculous, it's not like the components weren't impossible to get prior to Dec 19. Just another excuse.

I didn't pay by CC, so I'm stuck waiting rather than doing the credit card dispute and getting my money back. Only time will tell I guess.

I got a call a few days ago from Patty at Jack Ross Ammo. She was very nice, but explained that the owner's brother, Chris had taken over the mess left by her son in law. She spent some time explaining how their business model sucked and even how their front office girl Tia was overwhelmed by the management at no fault of her own. Patty was simply calling to make sure that I had gotten my money back via a credit card charge back. She explained that they had no 9mm, but were converting orders to .45 for those that wanted it.

She explained that ranges sent in brass, got that brass reloaded and then tacked on an additional order to that. For fear of losing their brass source, the old owner decided to fill those orders first, leaving very little/no supply for the retail orders.

She also explained that she has to go through these thousands of orders by hand and she's only currently up to March, (My order number was in the 700s). It sounds like she's the only one doing this.

Patty sounded pretty pissed that her son in law screwed up so badly and apologized about a thousand times. Its sounds to me like his family members are there trying to dig themselves out of the mess he created. She said he can't even bare to look at any emails anymore. They had to lay off all of the people he hired so quickly.

While I appreciate her efforts, and they sound nice enough, it sounds like the original owner had NO idea how to run a business and screwed all of his cutomers in an ammo ponzi scheme. Whether intentional or not, that man has business taking money from us and treating us like he did.

I wish the new people over at JRA the best, they've got a HUGE PR hole to dig themselves out of in the shooting community.

I never received a call or email until I attempted to contact them myself.

"I am unable to give you an update at this time. We are currently sitting dead in the water as the Sandy Hook tragedy has resulted in industry wide disruptions in component supply chains. We've been unable to secure bullets and will not be getting any in for about 3 weeks, as per our supplier. We've been begging them for some but they are backlogged 5 weeks and we're smack in the middle of their backlog. "

Email reply I got.

The received the same message. Copy and pasted to prolly everyone.

I could understand if I had ordered on December 10th and there was a delay due to the tragedy at Sandy Hook. But to even mention Sandy Hook to further their excuses since I and many other have been waiting since March. Get outta of here.

I want my ammo.

Just curious if you heard anything more. I ordered in April and my order was 14XX and if you haven't received anything, I know mine isn't even close! My order was for 9mm, which as I understand is the hardest to get.

Part of the deal is that they get upfront enough components for fulfill their previous orders. He seemed to think that they would start pumping out ammo in about two weeks and with the date of my order, I should see my ammo in about 2 months. This was a cold call, as I had not yet called them again, not sure if he had seen my post from the 22nd or not. Just thought I would let those know that are in the same boat as me, that we might get our ammo yet!

i doubt it . especially not at the old price of $69.99 shipped for 500 9mm , $99 shipped for 500 40sw. or $129.99 shipped on 500 .45

So glad I got out of this mess months ago. I would still be waiting for my ammo ordered in early March if it weren't for my CC company. If people are still placing orders from this company they are completely clueless. Good luck.

I wish I had used my CC and not my Debit card =(

I just heard that Sierra Gun Exchange gets there ammo from Jackross today. They seriously need to fill their backlog before getting new vendors.

I'm surprised that this thread is still alive as much as how they are still in business. Best of luck to those still waiting.

No need to do that because you can't order anything from them. I haven't talked to Vincent since last year so I have no idea where they stand. Last I heard they were still trying to fill orders but that was months ago. I'll see what I can find out.

I just spoke with Vincent and he told me they're still filling backorders, changing the orders to .45 where the customer said it was ok and giving refunds when possible. The backlog is down to a few hundred cases roughly and everyone will get their ammo in the end according to Vincent. If you don't get a response from them through email send another one. I know it's been a long road but they're still trying to make this right.

Thank you!! I've sent a few emails and got crickets.. Do you know if they would allow changes to .40 instead of .45?
