Default first try at ar. hope its good

I took my time with the build. Ok not really. Bought the lower thinking that's how it was going to be but before the ten days had a pile of parts lying around. I learned everything about assembling the rifle by shuffling through this site. Id like to say thanks and show my results.

Grizzly lower:
CMMG lower parts kit:
Magpul moe grip:
Magpul ctr 6 pos stock
Mbus front and rear (temporary)
Gun show free float quad rail (temporary)
Gun show barrel but
Troy Claymore muzzle brake
Armalite upper assembly
Armalite 20" 1/9 barrel.
Custom backpack style paracord sling (really near for easy carry)
G.p.s. Gripod vg/ bipod

There will be changes. Any advice would be nice.thanks for looking.

Also shoots great.

Rifle looks awesome but that's an odd spot for your holographic sight.

Its a real cheap pos but thats where i felt comfy with it. I was shooting pretty good groups with it last outing. Making about 1" groups at thirty yards. Ill save up for something better.

Looks good, man. I was going to ask about the holo sight too.

I don't know if I like the position that sling puts the rifle. If I were hiking around it seems like the muzzle would be point at the back of my head if I was climbing, bent over or looking up.

looks good man, one suggestion is to look into a more robust optic. But I kind of want to try my aimpoint that far out now to see how it works.

Good job on the build!

I understand the benefits of mounting your sight so far forward is for better peripheral vision but that far forward isn't necessary. I would recommend the front of your upper receiver.

Yeah.I've got a leopuld rifleman on it now. More a bench gun. I've started a 16" build and am going to stick with an eotech with proper mounting.after shooting allot I've kinda learned what I want out of the next one.
