Default New Project

Picked up a Marlin 336 "Leverless" in 30-30, that needs some TLC & parts.
Aquired all the parts but the Lever. My wallet & I can't decide.
Stock Lever $65 from Numrich.
Loop Lever $96 from Numrich. I like it, but feel it may be too big & waste Safe space. (opinions welcome)
Found a custom guy in the back of the Rifleman magazine. Same shape as the standard lever but made bigger. $136 is kind of a drawback.

Will refinish the wood in BLO or Tung Oil.
Will reblue it since there is some pitting on the reciever & barrel.
