Default When is the next SoCal Appleseed?

I missed the Corona one, but I really want to attend this course. Is it ok to bring my Savage 110BA 338 Lapua? I just got it this week, I have to mount the scope and zero it in, also have to check cross hair perpendicularity to the bore.

Yup, 21-22 October at Burro Canyon. There is also Wes Thompson (Piru) on 13-14 October.

I don't have a problem with a .338 Lapua, but since we go through about 500-600 rounds in a weekend and those are $4 and up last I checked... you might want to consider a more economical caliber.

Indeed. It would be cheaper to buy a 10/22 and a case of ammo.

Get practiced up with something lighter and cheaper, then take the .338 to the Zombieseed at Piru!

Not to mention, practice takes place usually at 25 yards.
