Can only think of 2.

* AMT Backup 22. (it was made from pot metal).
* AR-7 22 Rifle. Not a bad survival gun, but when you shoot it, all the powder and debris stay in the gun, causing it to muck up very quickly.

I have bought and sold many but the only one I regret buying is a Colt Commander in satin nickel. That was a POS finish, never looked good and turned green with solvent or skin oils.

Please further elaborate why the mini 14 is a regrettable gun purchase. I was interested in it for a while and would like to know shortcomings any owners might have noticed.

I bought 2 10/22 TD's and should have only got 1. I love the guns but do I really need 2? I was just trying to spread the DROS over 2 guns I guess.
Eventually, there will be custom stocks/kits so I can make one differant I hope.

Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40 watt range.
Parts are very hard to come by and the ammo is out of this world.

Back in 99 I bought a Cobray PM11. Functions great, but it isn't very accurate and it has a horrible trigger bite. I haven't shot it in years.

I bought a Ranch Rifle in about 1990, a buddy had one in high school, I've never had any problem of any kind, nor did my buddy. They do get hot after rapid fire.

I've probably fired a couple hundred rounds.

Keltec Su-16CA.

I bought it used off a guy in the Marketplace. It sat around for a couple years before I shot it. When I finally did shoot it, it was so far off to one side, I couldn't adjust the rear sight far enough. I sent it to Keltec, they replaced almost everything, reciever, barrel, bolt and carrier. After that it was "guaranteed" to be right on the money. I don't know about that because I never shot it afterwards, I sold it.

I can't say I regret buying any guns, even the crappy ones did provide some entertainment and I did enjoy them to a certain degree. The two purchases I made that I really felt kinda stupid for making were a Walther P22 and my second Sig SP2022. The Walther was an impulse buy, I did no research on it but bought it on the spot because it felt good in my hands. I soon learned how much of a jam-o-matic it was and to top it off, my Fiance hated shooting it because it would eject brass down her shirt and burn her. She tried wearing all different kinds of shirts but those casings always found a way in. The Sig was a fantastic gun and I've never had any problems with them, but the reason I feel stupid for buying one is because I already had one, bought a second one to keep as a low round count, unmolested bedside gun since my first one was getting pretty high in the round count. I guess in theory it wasn't a terrible idea, but I ended up selling it for a loss after only putting a few hundred rounds through it to function test and whatnot. I really should have predicted that would happen. So for me it was a stupid idea.

Don't regret any of the guns I've bought. I do have a Ruger 77 MKII that gave me a bunch of problems with accuracy for a while, but I got it figured out.

Do regret selling a couple though.

Taurus 92 clone. Worst POS I ever held.
Unreliable is the understatement of the decade.

I'd rather have a pointed stick than a Taurus.

Miserable POS. Now I'm angry about that purchase again. And it was over 20 years ago.

I've done well on purchases; no real disappointments in the guns themselves. HOWEVER....

Typically, I don't buy guns based on the ban/last chance scams. But due to the unknown and timing of OLLs/OLRs at the time, I paid a lot more than reasonable for a new HK USC (gray) back in 2006 (featureless with plex-blocker in the thumbhole areas) when we were not sure how much longer the DOJ/BOF was going to react to OLLs, and prior to bullet buttons being available for a multitude of guns.

They were scarce, only a few dealers would touch them, and as soon as they came in they sold. There were actually waiting lists. So what I paid SEEMED reasonable at the time. I can't think of any other gun I have ever paid a premium due to "last chance" doubts.

I don't regret the gun itself; I even dig the gray color. Just the awful inflated price. I can now probably get a black one at most any average FFL retailer for about $400 less than I paid.

I'm going to second the Kel Tec SU16 as I sold it a week after I bought it!

-Didn't like the stock the way it shouldered.
-The trigger was cheap plastic
-The bipod was flimsy
-Mags didn't drop freely for me
-The bolt was springy and spongy at the same time
-It just wasn't fun gun and didn't handle well
I regret buying my Mini 14. That's because it's so fun I can't wait to get back out to the range with it!

Of the guns I currently own, I don't really regret any of them. The ones I did regret I have since either sold or traded.

Funny, I have some of these guns and have had no problems. The Mini 14, XD-45 Tactical, GSG 5 and have had no problems. Luck of the rookie I guess.

bought an LC9...I still don't know why... I have a better chance throwing the gun at the target and hitting it, than shooting at it. I can't wait to dump it...

Auto Ordnance 1911 .45 Jam-o-matic. It will also do double-taps without trying.

I thought Ruger was god until I bought a P-85. Bulky, ugly and cheap looking. Has a trigger creep so nasty I can't hit a thing with it, I even had the trigger worked on. Will feed almost anything though.

Llama Mini Max II back in 1998.
Thought I could do some work to it and make it run decent.
WRONG! It would fire the first shot every time, then, well mis feed, every single time.
Ended up trading for a old Remington 870

POS gun!

Ruger Redhawk .44. I bought it a long time ago and swear that the barrel vears left. Sent it back to Ruger and they sent it back to me stating that there is nothing wrong with it at all. The rear sight is way over to the right to make it shoot straight. I would sell it, but would never sell a poorly built gun to someone else. I just wish Ruger would have made it right.

Taurus Millennium PT145 PRO (will never buy another Taurus product ever again!!!)
Pheonix Arms HP22

everything else has been amazing...so far (though i do wish i bought a SU-16CA instead of a SU-16A so i wouldn't have to pay for the better sight and threaded barrel, but I still love the gun and don't regret buying it at all.)

HR 20 gauge single shot. I bought this gun as my starter shotty. The gun was so light weight, it kicked more than any 12g I have ever fired.

I have a SU-16. I only regret paying so much for a plastic gun. That said how many rifles are there that are only 6 pounds and fold up in a backpack.
