C'mon guys, he used the "shoulder thing that goes up" in the promo. Let see some more pledges.

You only get half points because you didn't get Eddington's "heat seeking bullets" quote. But I do expect it incorporated in the final film! Because it is comedy gold I tell you.

Thanks to Exile Machine for the $100 pledge. Let's challenge the other manufacturers to match their pledge.

Folks, we all whine about negative media attention, and rightly so.

Well, here is an opportunity to help present a truly balanced view of 2A rights, the history and relevance in modern society, and show the dire consequences of failing to protect the right.

This director and creative team can present this story at a very high level of production value and credibility.

For patriots like us, it's is a rare chance to influence public opinion through PBS affiliates and film festivals, reaching an audience in a way that can't be accomplished through any other means.

Please pledge your support at whatever level you are comfortable. The clock is ticking on the kickstarter campaign. If we don't reach the funding goal needed to get the film made, you risk nothing.

Please do what you can. Thanks.

Anyone know anyone over at one of the shows like Sons of Guns, American Guns, etc.?

I wonder if they would like to help with the Kickstarter campaign?

How about some of the Hollywood crowd like Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood, etc. or how about a guy like L.L. Cool J or Mark Wahlberg?

Here is an article about stars who like guns...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1557203.html

... which includes Donald Trump and Robert De Niro.

There is some serious money. Anyone able to get a message to them?

We need to get some big guns involved (pun intended).

lol. I'll let my wife know.

Yeah, Ice T for sure.

There have to be some connected people here on CGN even if they just lurk.

How about country music people like Dwight Yokam, Brad Paisley, John Rich!

Heck... Ted Nugent.

Billy Bob Thornton!

Thanks Mike.

To everyone:

Please tweet and facebook the project - we only need three of your friends to match your pledge and we will reach our goal. Just three. Challenge them.

Posted this link http://kck.st/OllEYn on the forum pages you hang out the most or even those you never visit. Just spread the word.

I just doubled my pledge. It is gonna hurt, but hurt less than losing my 2A rights. We can do this. Step up and represent CA gun owners in our struggle to remain. You know you want to!

Would have been nicer to have received a choice of BR or DVD for more than $50 pledge.
No biggies, just some of us do not have br yet.

A hugh thanks CM, WOW, $2K!

We've broke the $20K mark today.

Thank you all and please ask your friends/family/coworkers to match your contributions.

Ran the numbers - we need to raise $4K a day from here on out.

Blogs are starting to work. The radio interviews, too, but, we need to circle back to our fellow Calgunners, CA gun owners and our local FFLs and ask for their help.

Some folks back East are helping out as well, but many feel that CA and gun rights are a lost cause. Let show them they're wrong!

In 2005, during the chaotic aftermath of Katrina, misguided LE and National Guardsmen confiscated guns throughout New Orleans - a clear breech of the citizen's civil rights. Now, seven years later, Louisianans will pass a state constitutional 2nd amendment in November making sure that the same unlawful acts never happen again. If Louisianans can make sure that 2A lives in their state, so can we.

Please let your friends know that everyone that has joined this team through a pledge needs their help. Together, we can all make this film a reality. Together we can change minds.

I, unfortunately, can not raise my donated amount at this time. I really hope we can make the goal in time. However, if we can't, the word is already out and i can definitely see us hitting the goal the second go around as things were really slow in the beginning simply due to just not enough people knowing.

LETS KEEP GOING

The time limit is a real *****, judging my the trend we'd have no problem funding if we had another twoish months. Is there any way at all to get an extension?

No. 30 days is the recommended length for a campaign. We just need to stay on it and spread the word.

Talked to Kris a little on twitter the other day, which is even more a reason to pledge. Very nice person who seems to be very humble.

I believe I tripled my pledge, if I did it right. It probably isn't anything compared to what some others have put out, but I am doing what I can! I want to see this get out there in a big way.

Thanks Robb! We need to go shoot together when things calm down.

Let's have a donor range day - two of them, NorCal and SoCal. Nice CalGuns socials! They would also be great opportunities for us to film our supporters!

This is an AMAZING idea!

-Mark a day on the calendar that works for most
-Maybe find some good areas in both NorCal and SoCal to shoot (something I honestly know nothing about haha, only done range shooting). That way there is no range fee on top of donation.
-Agree on an "entry donation" (IMO $15-20 which can be what most ranges charge for a fee) I would assume more of a donation would be always welcome
-If people want to do extra, they can donate their brass that can be sold in the seller's forum or ebay or whatever's legal for a little icing on the cake.
-Maybe a 50/50 raffle
-Maybe an additional/small donation for those who want to partake in friendly competition. IE: Pistol shoot, short range rifle, long range rifle, irons only etc...maybe winner gets a prize, or something

Just a few thoughts.

Either way, I'd love to shoot with you when things calm down, Kris!
