I'll play, not really fair since the new one is an X-5, but... New one has a rail, external extractor, checkered trigger guard, different checkering on front strap, plastic guide rod, different grip screws, made of stainless steel, wood grips, different takedown lever, mim parts, beaver tail. What do I win?.

Nice X-5 btw.

Took off the color fill recently; it was something I tried but didn't care for.

Maybe you've mistaken? From his post, it appears he has a standard P220 and recently picked up a P220 Stainless Elite. All of the features you've mentioned are correct tho. The picture of X5 I posted, which is a P226.

My first sig (P220 Combat)! Got it a few weeks ago (after about a 3 month wait--I really wanted the Combat version), along with 4 extra magazines. I've put a few hundred rounds through it so far, but I just ordered reloading dies (I borrowed my dad's equipment) and an additional 1000 rounds of 230grn CCI/Speer Lawman rounds. I initially bought 500 rounds, which won't to not last me as long as I thought it would. Also, this sucker throws brass FAAAAAAAR--my rate of brass recovery so far at my outdoor range has been bad (about 40%).

Wow... so many beautiful SIG's. Those people that don't understand why we pay the price for SIG's just don't understand the finer things in life

Here's my P229 Enhanced Elite. I really, really wanted to like the E2 grips that came on the gun, but just couldn't get comfortable with the short grip reach. I'm still contemplating different wood grips, so I installed the standard Hogue "battle" grips in the meantime.

My prized P226R....

No trigger work yet just a cerakote job in patriot brown from Hal and HP Custom and Coating.

Added some TruGlo sights that I am going to probably going to swap out (PM if interested).

Added the E2 grip kit and did the stippling myself. Quite proud of it.

She ran great this last weekend at Stan's Academy of St. Crispian. No failures in the gun at all. She really loves that slide guide!

*sorry, she's still a little dirty from class on Saturday.

I got my gun mat from amazon (the one that says Tekmat on it).

http://www.amazon.com/Sig-Sauer-P226...s=p226+gun+mat

Big enough for one pistol cleanup and it's pretty much the same stuff like a mouse pad. Since I use Frog Lube to clean/treat my Sig, there's barely any mess and a wipedown at the end of cleaning the pistol, is all it takes

Just seeing this thread for the 1st time. The OP's collection is plain sick. I love seeing what people have, as far as "themes" go, this collection is simple, get all the Sigs you can.

Pretty awesome!

I'm getting my P220 combat out of jail this Friday and a few goodies. This will be my first Sig. I'll post a pic when I get everything on. Also got the 22lr conversion kit. Anyone try it yet?

Here's my new HD gun, the P220 Combat I just got out of jail Friday. I replaced the factory dark earth grips with Hogue checkered G10 - G-Mascus Green grips and replace the oem guide rod with Steve Bedair ss guide rod, then headed to the range. This was my first time shooting the heavier 45 acp so my point of impact was low at first till I adjusted. I'm used to shooting 9mm and 40sw. I'm thinking of having the slide Cerakote™ finished in OD green.

Ever since I shot my first Sig in 2010, it's been on my list to buy. Now two years later, I've had the chance to pick up a few.

In the span of two months, here is what I have:

All my handguns are 9mm, so unfortunately no P220 for me. Maybe once I start picking up some 1911's, I'll look into the P220.

I plan to pick up a 229 and 239 down the line though.

So after a loooooong 14 day wait (I travel for work so I had to wait the extra 4 days since I was out of town) I was finally able up my MK25, which BTW is also my first handgun. I've only had the chance to put about 250 rounds through her so far but I'm love! Just need to get me some E2 grips since the originals are a bit thick for me. Also my GF loves shooting the P226 so much she wants her own P229 Enhanced Elite!

Anyways here it is:

Funny those the same models I'm debating on which would be my next Sig, the Mk25 or the P229 Enhanced Elite.

Both? Haha.. Actually I would say go based on if you want a full size vs compact. The P229 Enhanced Elite does come with the E2 grips and SRT already installed though so that will save you some money in the long run if you're interested in any of those upgrades.
