It's custom design made by Parallax Tactical in San Diego. They are starting to mass produce them. They don't seem to have it on their website right now, but I've seen them in their shop. You might want to contact them.

This ^ They don't have them on their website, but should have them in their shop. If you give them a call they can probably help you out.

I like it a lot, seems to work very well. Admittedly I don't have too much experience with different brakes, however others on this site who are more well versed in AR's seem to like them as well.

Wanted to post up a couple quick cell pics now that I have my bipod and Nikon scope. Still need mags though lol

Its sorta RECCE/SPR ish I think(16" SS barrel), not sure if I want to put it in the SPR gallery though, those guys seem brutal when it comes to rifles that aren't real SPR's

Kewl. I'm looking to replace my standard A2 flash/muzzle break.
Hopefully the next version of the PXT upper will have both the new rail and the muzzle break when I start my next build. ... Waiting.....

Since I'm an attention whore, I have another pic. I just went out and shot it, since I got the scope I couldn't wait to see what it can do.

Shot 9 rounds at 90 yds. It's not a great group, but I was shooting PMC Bronze and these were literally the first 9 rounds I have shot with this scope, not even bore-sighted! Also I was shooting downhill and had to support the back of the rifle without anything to rest it on, so I couldn't keep it very steady.

The 4 holes on the right were my first 4, started off good but then started to drift right.

Like a lot of other people, this was my very first build. Did my research for about 1.5-2 years before I started and so far I'm happy with it. Just need to take it to the range, zero the sights and shoot the crap out of it. Need to buy ammo first to do that and some other parts before she's completely done.

Here's the list of parts.

Aero upper receiver
Bravo Company Mfg BCG and MOD4 charging handle
Yankee Hill Machine low-pro gas block and carbine gas tube
PSA 14.7 barrel w/A2 flash hider
Centurion Arms 12 in. quadrail
Troy BUIS
Ergo ladder covers

Riflegear lower receiver
PSA LPK
PSA buffer assembly
Raddlock BB
Noveske QD endplate
Magpul MOE stock
Magpul MOE grip
Magpul trigger guard
Magpul PMags

I also got a Magpul MS3 sling and a standard QD swivel, but I think that the sling would work better with a "D" loop swivel. The connector seems to get caught on one side. That's next on the list along with an Aimpoint T1 or H1, Magpul AFG, and maybe a BCM Gunfighter's grip

I did my entire truck in it back in feb and its holding up well. Minor chips where rocks hit the panels, that's it though.

eta- you can see in the pics that the "high use" areas do get chipped and faded, but i like the look.

If you guys could post parts/specs like the OP intended this thread to be it would be awesome!

That way other cal gunners don't have to search all over the Internet wondering what parts you used.

The idea behind this thread is grat, but it feels like its just turning into just a picture thead (which we already have those)

+1 for parallax tactical they are awesome! Totally helpful! By far the best shop I have been to in sandiego! Only problem is they are so busy they can't answer the phone or make call backs, if I didn't need something to finish a build and saw it on there web site I may have never gone in there. I'm glad I did now I know they are busy for a reason. They said they knew the phone setup needed improvement so I hope they get it figured out.

Thank you, I gave up a long time ago trying to maintain/enforce this when I got too much backlash. But 70% seem to follow it, so it is still a great resource!

It would be great if a Mod would PM people that just post pics asking for them to add the info / deleting the post after a few weeks if they dont. And deleting posts that are just comments, or quotes of whole posts with 'Nice.' Really doesn't add to this resource, it just clutters it, and goes against the original intention of this thread. As a whole though it is great!

Check out the optisan mamba scope and mount combo from WWW.swfa.com. it was $149 plus shipping. I've gotten 3 now and they are a great bang for the buck. Hard to bear, BDC FOR 55GR m193 dual illuminated reticle red/green. Basically comes with a Burris PEPR MOUNT ONLY IT LOOKS better.
