Default M1 carbine underwood telescoping stock?

Ii got this in trade because I love my M1 carbine. I know I can't have this config in California. So these seem pretty rare. I read its an underwood civilian type collapsible stock. What's it worth? Seems to be like new.

I don't think Underwood made civilian stocks it looks like a old Iver Johnson or a Plainsfeild.

Whenever I see carbine stocks like that I'm instantly taken back to my GI Joe days (the 12" guys, not the "action figures"). Pretty cool and sad we can't use those in state without fixing the magazine.
