I too love PSA, but it does seem kind of silly that they couldn't pull an order that hadn't shipped yet...because someone couldn't get up from their seat and walk over there? I mean yeah, perhaps they would have had to of removed many boxes from the pallet to find yours and remove it, but that's customer service. That's the whole point. With the amount of business PSA does with UPS, I'm sure the driver could have waited 10 more minutes while they (meaning more than one person looking for the box) did this.

I can sympathize with OP, but considering PSAs usual solid customer service I'd add a different point of view. When the company I work for ships common carrier (UPS, Fedex, etc) we often shrink wrap a lot of pallets and call the carrier, transmit the manifest, etc - depending on when the OP called the carrier could've been on their way. Trying to find one box out of many with the carrier on its way could've been problematic. If we unpack and the carrier arrives, they leave. Don't give up on PSA - I had a less than happy event, but have ordered a few more times and they've been solid -

Thanks for your post though and hope the kits worked out.

Since the other thread got closed, my thoughts are first off, it doesn't matter how much you order from a company. that doesn't make you more special or deserving of extra service over someone who is a new customer. and second, as someone who did do shipping/warehousing, i am on PSA's side. once a package is wrapped up and waiting for pickup, it might as well be considered shipped.

and if you were willing to wait, why order something you didn't really want in the first place then decide to change it when what you wanted did come back into stock from the order you already placed?

I think you made a reasonable request and PSA made a reasonable decision. No need to get all uppity about it.

I actually had a comment in my original post as to how my opinion is based on not knowing exactly how things are on their end (the shipping/packing part). I have never worked in shipping/warehouseing, so I don't know how that all is handled/packed up.

I just assumed with the "it hasn't shipped yet, no" comment, that it was still loosely packed/some boxes stacked up and not all wrapped up pretty much on it's way out the door.

I was never told it was shrink wrapped and ready to go out the door either so I don't know where that came from.

I'm going to give them a second chance to make it right monday and see what they can do. For now, I'm taking this down so as not to bad mouth them because thus far outside of this one incident they've been good to me.
