Brandon,

Are Amazon "subscriptions" included, each time they ship? I have a few, and just added more...

Can one cancel any current subscriptions, and reinitiate through the CGF link, getting the money?

Great idea this is. Another Prime member here also...

I believe that all items ordered and shipped (including recurring) are associated to the CGF program given they are ordered by first clicking our link for the reference code.

I won't know any item details to run some quick curves on for about 24 hours, but possibly yes.

What a rockin' way to take care of a 'crappy' problem! (Har har har...)

Thanks for thinking of us while ordering the commodes!

I've got some things on automatic shipping (amazon subscriptions.) Is there a way to make sure calguns gets a piece of each of those?

Too funny as I just spent $402 on a Kohler today through the link myself! hahahaha

Is there any way to confirm the referral link worked; I don't see any notices/banners/etc. on Amazon when ordering?!?!?!

I believe the way to accomplish this is to cancel the existing subscription and setup a new subscription after having clicked into Amazon from our referral link.

Thanks to everyone's thoughtfulness, you've managed to raise ~$1,500 this month through Feb. 22 for CGF's rights-advancing programs!

Just used some of the tax return for a new surround sound receiver and speakers through the link. I agree with several people who mentioned there's no indication that money is being donated so I hope it worked, but definitely an awesome idea as most of my online shopping is through amazon.

Just because I am still curious whether this is working or not...is it possible to confirm that credit was given on an order I just placed for $1,231.51?

Yes, this program is ongoing and will continue indefinitely (or until Amazon or CGF ends).

We're not able to see the orders like the purchaser does. Revenues are usually recognized in the system by Amazon within 24 hours of the shipment of each item.

I was on amazon just now, trying to make a donation to CGF but everytime I click the link, a letter from the amazon CEO comes up and I can't find the Calguns donation anywhere.

What's the deal?

This thread and the associated links are for those who wish to purchase items at Amazon using our Affiliate link that earns us up to 15% on every Amazon purchase. It's an easy way to help CGF by shopping at Amazon with no additional cost to you.

Our donation links are here: www.calgunsfoundation.org/donate.

Specifically, choose one of the options:

* General donations
* Carry License Initiative Sponsorships
* CGF Store

I have a neat little trick I figured out using Firefox, an add-on, and the search tool bar in the upper right corner. This way you don't have to remember to go to the bookmark first.

When I needed to buy something, I was forgetting to go to the bookmark first. As I just go to the search engine bar and change to Amazon at the top and type what I need. This will allow me to continue this practice, while ensuring the referral is used.

Download add-on "Add to Search Bar" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...to-search-bar/
*I did not create the add-on, and not affiliated with it in any way.*

Click on the referral link or open from bookmark http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF...reative=390957

With the newly installed add-on, right click on the search bar on the Amazon page. Select "Add to Search Bar".

Now give it a name, "CGF referral link" or whatever you want.

Go up to the search engine bar and "Manage Search Engines". Remove the original Amazon Search Engine.

Now when you search using Amazon in the search bar in Firefox, the referral will be used!

(Look at the top in the address bar to confirm you see "calgunfounda")

www.adamcarolla.com has built his podcast empire with this Amazon linking. I have since re-directed all of my Amazon buying to Calguns, Adam has made enough. If we could build some critical mass on this, it would help Calguns and our cause immensely.

Tell family and friends to do it too. Everyone buys from Amazon, why not help the cause?
