I'm not a big Zombie Shirt kinda guy... Any thought on some plain T-Shirts Maybe in Black, or CalGuns Blue with a smaller CGN Logon on the left breast and maybe a Molon Labe or other some such slogan on the back? Something that everyone would like to wear to their favorite range so we can pick each other out of the lineup.

X2 or a low profile flexfit hat with velcro, zombie reponse team patch would fit, just make the CGN logo smaller and in OD to fit the hat.

If I can get artwork, I can make some. I have free/unlimited access to a vinyl cutter.

Has anyone tried putting an iron-on patch on a range bag? Wondering if the material can stand up to it without melting/burning.

I ironed on a CGN patch to a nylon bag. I basically took these steps:

How to apply patches with heat seal backing using an iron
  1. Set the iron to the cotton or high heat temperature setting.
  2. Lay the garment down flat and place a pillow case over the area of the garment where the patch is to be attached. Place your heated iron on the pillow case and press down firmly for 10 seconds in order to heat up the area of the garment where the iron on patch is to be attached.
  3. Place your iron on patch on the pre-heated garment area. Then put your pillow case on top of the patch and then press down firmly with your iron for another 15 to 20 seconds.
  4. Remove the iron and pillow case and place the garment aside and allow it to fully cool before handling it.

I was pretty careful with the temp and timing since I didn't want the nylon to melt. For step 3 I actually applied the heat to the pillow case which was placed over the back of the nylon, with the patch bellow. It worked fine, but I haven't "field tested" it to see how well it holds up.

If you really want them to stay on through thick & thin consider sewing the patch on.

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna order some patches and sew them on, I think. Need to practice my sewing anyway.

Seriously guys, if you get some cg black 2xl shirts in, I'd buy some. Are you planning on restocking the shirts you have on the apparel page?

Hey guys!

I placed an order on Sunday 22 July, 2012, and got confirmation that it was processed, but haven't heard anything since. In 13 hours, it'll be a week.

Just wondering.

Sorry for the delay, orders are shipped out when I have time to do them! I updated the shopping cart software to give warning of a possible 2-4 week timeframe. Everyone always gets their order.

Default Why No Hats ?

I'd buy a hat!

I know you have patches that could be sewn on a hat .. if I knew how to sew! Iron on patches never seem to stick well on hats.

Why is the shipping on the pins so much? $5.75 to ship a small lapel pin? It says they're 1 lb, too, yet a patch is only $2 shipping. A pin could easily be slipped into a padded envelope and shipped First Class.

Because I can't put them into the #10 envelopes I use, and I don't have little padded envelopes. The shipping is either envelopes or flat rate priority. Just order a license plate frame too, then it needs the bigger envelope!

Question investment guns

I just bought a Kimber Custom II 45ACP for an investment. I do not care for the 45ACP, but I know many people love the gun.
As an investment, woulds it be wise to keep the Kimber NIB for resale purposes?
Is there another gun that would be good investment? I built an AR-15 with a 20" chromelined barrel that I have nor fired yet.
I have three OLL Lowers on order, but it's hard to buy the parts.

Thanx in advance;
Dante'

I too would purchase a hat. Perhaps black with blue logo or olive drab with some colored logo that'd go well with it?
