Default CHRISTMAS PRESENT COMPLETED

So, I finally got my "gift" done-- took my DD M4V2's lower and married it to my new Centurion Arms C4 upper (thanks Monty!). Super nice fit- totally solid- absolutely no play:

-Centurion Arms C4 upper/rail assembly with 14.5" lightweight cold hammer forged barrel (1:7 right hand twist/M4 ramp/taper bore/HP-MPI tested/extra thick chrome lining/mil spec phosphate finish); midlength gas system; FSB.
-Daniel Defense M4 lower w/BCM H2 buffer and Sprinco blue spring and stock trigger
-Aimpoint T1 RDS w/LRP mount and spacer (lower 1/3 co-witness)
-Battlecomp 1.5
-LMT SOPMOD stock
-BCM BCG w/enhanced bolt
-BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 charging handle
-Magpul MIAD grip/XTM rail panels/BAD lever/PMAGs/enhanced trigger guard/AFG2
-Troy Battlesight rear folding
-Surefire 600C weapon light on IWC/HPS Thorntail Adaptive Light Mount
-Ares Armor Huskey Amentum slider sling with VLTOR QDs

Attachment 128077
Attachment 128078

My DD carbine upper has not been retired (only 6,650 rounds through her). Still love driving the carbine -- just wanted something different to shoot now and then .

Default Featurless

Pre-ban OLL rifle initially reconfigured to BB to deal with this California nonsense, then more recently reconfigured into featureless format I can take advantage of my plethora of pre-ban mags.

I assembled the rifle (which is my first AR) back in September as a real basic one however I kept seeing things I liked, and wanted, and so it goes... Just got the last few parts together and I am finally happy with how it looks.
Specs: High Standard lower
BCM carbine length upper w/ auto bolt carrier group and charging handle
Troy drop in 2 piece handguard

Cali-glock. I can see by your weird gun, you live in Lala land. Heh. Me too, I have a couple of those Exile adapters. Nice guy to deal with.
A suggestion. I found that foam to be irritating to my baby butt tender face. Consider taking off the foam and putting a covering of heat shrink tubing on it. No big deal. Get some at the electronic supply store, shrink it with a cheap paint removal heat gun- no need for a fancy overly expensive heat gun. Go for the $25. black and decker.

Spikes ST15 w/ free float rail. Didn't want to build this one. I like that I have a lifetime warranty.

The only thing I changed was the rear sight, asked the gun shop to take the Troy rear and give me a carry handle so that I would have elevation adjustments.

Use- zombie defense and paper

Cool

A FDE project I just finished up. It started, when I bought the Noveske rail off a friend who needed the cash. I decided it needed a little rifle to go with it.

For me, it's 'plinker grade.' Made from;

- STS Arms stripped lower - RRA 2-stage trigger & LPK
- DSA A3 stripped upper
- Palmetto State Armory premium F/A BCG
- Magpul trigger guard, ACS stock, AVG II, ladders, MOE grip, & mag (Yes, I live in PA - the 30 rounder is legal here )
- Noveske 11.5" rail
- ADM68 co-witness mount
- Aimpoint Comp M2
- Troy BUIS in FDE
- Gear Sector 2 pt. sling (I had some extra black attachment segments laying around, so I used them for the 'black & tan' effect.
- Vltor CK Scout mount & Surefire G2 Nitrolon LED light

Tactical Toolbox out of Mapleton, OR built my upper, and did the cerakoting in FDE as well. The barrel is nitrided, and likewise FDE cerakoted. I left the PWS FSC556 in black, and it is pinned/welded to the 14.5" bbl.

Took right at a year - from when I bought the Noveske rail - to when I had it all back, and ready for assemblage. For my first NON-black, black rifle, it was a lotta fun!

what color is that? it almost looks silver, but can't tell if the flash is making FDE appear that way

EDIT: just actually read what was posted lol. nice rifle!

My newest:
Built to be somewhat of a lightweight KISS type rifle. I wanted simplicity with a red dot. I may do a fixed rear BUIS just because.

PSA Lower
PSA upper W/FA BCG 1:7 twist
Mil-Spec Stock
Aluminum Picatinny rail on bottom of handguard with heatshield removed
Vortex Strikefire red dot sight
Magpul MBUS rear sight
Boonie Packer 2p-TQA-C 2 point sling (AWESOME sling if you ever need one. Really robust)
UTG Sniper pistol grip. I really like the texture somewhere between plastic and rubber and great finger grooves
Assault Planet Bullet Button
Geissele G2S 2 stage trigger

Great gun for dirt cheap through PSA. Only things I had to do were sling, grip, and rail.

LMT BCG
Battlecomp 1.0 Muzzle Brake
Troy Rear BUIS
Aimpoint Micro H1 w/ Aimpoint 39mm riser and LRP mount

Spike's Tactical Lower
(can't remember what LPK )

IWC Micro QD mount (requires drilling in to the MOE handguard) - this thing is awesome.
