Default Advice: Should I get this scope?

I didn't want to post this in the optics section since this question is specifically for my Ruger 10/22. I'm strapped for cash, but I'd like a scope for my 10/22.

Do you all think this is a decent match to a stock Ruger 10/22?

Barska Plinker Scope

I'm not even sure if this will attach since the top of my 10/22 has two bolt holes in it, but I saw in the comments that other people attached it to their 10/22's somehow.

Thanks for your advice Calguns friends.

You probably don't want to go over 4x for .22, if that helps...

yeah, you can leave it down at 3x, personally when im bench shooting i like having my scope zoomed in far. even at 25yrds i shoot at 9x. unsupported i shoot at 3-4x.

the standard rings that come with it arent wide enough to fit a picatinny rail, but they fit the standard scope base that comes with the 10/22, the rings are also high.

i picked up some leupold rings for it which are lower, and do fit a picatinny rail.

if you want the scope PM me. id let it go for $50 shipped with the leupold rings, or $35 shipped with the standard rings.

As a plinker it will do just fine. at 9x it will have a small field of view , but its a variable so you can adjust to current conditions. you will need to find the scope rail that came with your gun new or purchase another. they start at around $10. if you want to save a few bucks and use the rings that come with the scope make shure the mount you use is for 3/8" tip off rings.
