Default Need red dot recommendations for M&P 15-22

I'm thinking of getting a red dot sight for my M&P 15-22. I've never use a red dot before so I'd like something somewhat user friendly as well as somewhat inexpensive (less than $200)

Any recommendations/thoughts?

I also second PrimaryArms but I recommend this one - if you have a std. A2 front sight it will give you better co-witness.

Its similar to the Bushnell TRS-25 but the PrimaryArms is brighter and comes with the correct base.

Still waiting to mount it on the AR and sight her in, so no range report yet. At a $30 price point Im not expecting too much but the reviews seem very positive.

I just bought a primary arms m3 and a 3x magnifier, its in the mail now. Its gonna be replacing my sight mark ultimate reflex sight. I highly recomend the sight mark, I love mine, I'm just rplacing it because it doesn't work well with a reflex sight.

IMO EoTech's and Aimpoints seem to be the most popular and used by tactical teams worldwide. Now me, I can't see spending an equal or greater amount on an optic. That's just me. I use a 1x Trujicon Chinese replica - full trademarks no less - meant for airsoft = $50 shipped. There are replica magnifiers too. If it breaks, toss it and buy another. I'm sure a lot of guys will not share my view.

I like the Primary Arms Micro Dot. with AD quick detach mount.
Holds zero and returns to zero when removed and remounted.
PA recommends this one for 12 guage shot guns, so it will hold up.
