Default How to: Pin a Magpul ACS buttstock for a featureless build

back by popular demand...

this video will show you how I disassembled and pined the Magpul ACS butt-stock without drilling.

so it can be used in a FEATURE-LESS rifle build

special thanks to calguns member Gio

note: pinning a Magpul MOE is also very similar.

MOD at your own risk

Appreciate you hosting this video again but there is an even easier way to pin an ACS,CTR,MOE stock. In the pic below, you can shimmy a straightened out paper clip in the highlighted hole through to the opening on the other side. Once you have done this you can trim the paper clip and use needle nose pliers to bend up the ends to the point the pliers would be necessary for removal. Once your are done you can close the friction lock if your stock is equipped with one. This method skips out the removal of the friction lock lever.

Btw, in your configuration and I guess this applies to all similar configurations people should be careful not to collapse their stocks to the point it makes a 'thumbhole' stock. Yours looks ok but I can see an uninformed person getting confused.

Good video!

I wouldn't worry about a thumbhole stock since I doubt any person would be able to put their thumb in that hole and still pull the trigger with the same hand.

Give it a shot. Trust me it is possible. It's not comfy but it is possible.

Great video, good that you kept your raddlock in LOCK position until the gun was actually featureless.

Thanks IPSICK!

you confirmed my concept.
I used a doubled steel wire and stuffed the ends tight along the lock release bar; making them unreachable by fingers.

Feels so good to have my pre-ban 30's useful again!

Cheers!

You are correct sir. Marxists are requiring us to register our guns, banning our magazines, and passing background checks for ammo. Sounds like 1930's Germany, except this time the Marxists are the tyrants. Ah well, we all know what happens when to you oppress the people... Can't wait to bring them all to justice.
