Yes, I am looking into buying a Nightforce scope for my Remington, but for know the Nikon is suffient. And hey it works and it works good. I don't have any complaints about it, do you?
Otherwise nice rifle!
I got the Leupold Mark 4 ER/T, MLR reticle with .1 mil turrets. It's a mil/mil FFP setup, great glass and I found one for under $1300 new, that's half the price of a NF FFP scope.

I haven't really had a chance to work with it yet, but the center of the crosshairs are open so as to not clutter the target, very smart design. That and I have VX3s on numerous other rifles which have served me well, I've never missed a shot because I needed better glass.

I am a rarity in that I prefer the Leupold image rendition to that of the NF, the NF seems to have a tint that I notice when transitioning in and out if it. $2350 wasn't an option for me.

I've always been an iron-sight kind of guy, so I got this beauty and plan on getting good on it out to 600 yards. As of now, the matching # stock has a crack in it, so I purchased another surp. stock that will be on the rifle until I decide to retire it. That being said, I plan on floating the barrel, and putting MOJO sights on it.

Other than the color, and UBR, that was my rifle. I LOVED my JP upper. It was a tack driver.

Default Out of jail out of jail!

Got my 700 out of CA jail the other day!

Already had the 3-18 IOR scope, so ordered low rings and the Badger rail.

Gonna sight and break it in today.

It is a Surefire brake, I like it a lot.

I was surprised at the difference it makes in felt recoil, even with hot 175gr handloads.

I sent the barreled action to GA Precision for the installation, took about 3-4 weeks total.

Here is my baby, Tikka 308 Varmint, LRS-1 scope, still waiting for the Harris bipod to come in. I hope to pop the cherry on the ol girl this weekend. Here is how she started out in life.

Then she evolved into this

And the way she looks today, about a month start to finish.

I called Beretta to verify this recently and they said this is not the case.

This is what I have been told by at least 10 brick and mortor stores and at least 15 online stores to include Tikka precision, Ozark, and others? Good luck trying to find one.

At 2-3MOA unfortunately. It's an awesome rifle and color me a little jealous, but from my experience they tend to shoot like a shotgun at that distance. No doubt they are fun to shoot, especially into vehicles...with Mk211
