You B*st*rd! You tried to buy two pistols within 30 days?! You are worse than Hitler! It's people like you who will bring about the downfall of mankind. How can you live with yourself? This is why I'm for the death penalty, we don't need your two-gun-buying-within-30-days kind around here.

The more you people keep electing Democrats the more the Government will continue to harass lawful gun owners. Why do you do it?

But look at how safe you are because you could not buy another pistol within an arbitrary amount of time!

Man that sucks. Why do dros cost $35 anyway? Seems a bit steep for some paperwork and a background check. CA sure knows how to make $, then lose it all.

Yup, I have to sit for my license again because I had a speeding ticket in 2006 and my license expired during the 10 day wait. Now I have to re-DROS it again and am in the same boat spending more money. Piss me off!

Look, that bum on the corner needs to get his booze money somehow. If the gov't doesn't give him his "pay" that he "earned" by being born in America, then what kind of society do we live in?

I like the 30 days reset period. I've had my eye on a nice 1911 that I can't really afford (well I have the cash, just shouldnt spend it right now ).

Since I bought a M9 2 weeks ago I still have to wait 16 days before putting money down. It kind of stops me from impulse buying.

No, you missed it. The money is going to feed the North Korean Army. Didn't you hear Jimmie Carter say that unless we did this the US was committing a human rights violation.

get a COE and you can avoid the 1 in 30 BS You can also take C&R handguns with you after you buy them (if you have your 03 FFL)

I almost did the same thing. I DROS'ed a handgun and forgot that I had DROS'ed one around a month ago. I got home and checked my paperwork and it had been 31 days since my last DROS. I got lucky.

Pretty sure that's FUD about C&R handguns, at least in CA. All handguns, C&R or not have to go through an FFL I believe. Would love to be shown otherwise... Don't get people in trouble.

C&R + COE = No more 1/30 rule on all handguns and C&R handguns have no 10 wait period although they still most be DROSed.

Not FUD. C&R pistols do have to go through an 01 FFL in CA but if you have your 03 FFL (C&R license) and your CA COE you can take them with you after you buy/transfer/DROS them.

since when is saying you can do soemting FUD???

Yea you're only making my point further. They have to go through an 01 FFL you cannot simply cash and carry as C&R handgun. Perhaps he was specifically talking about buying a C&R handgun at an 01 FFL. Just making sure ppl don't think they can private party cash and carry a C&R handgun simply because they have the two. Semantics.

And I'll tell you about 1000 ppl here who have said you can do something which is entirely illegal.

Also, the video says a $35 mistake. DROS is only $25. Did GFOS charge you $35? It wasn't a PPT was it?

Trust me, being exempt from the 1 gun per 30 days law is not a good thing. Yesterday I went into a local gun store to purchase the Kimber TLE. Thirty minutes later I DROSed two 1911s (Kimber TLE 1911 and GSG 1911) I always leave my wallet at home whenever I plan to go pick up my gun after 10 days just in case i want to purchase another one.

Y'know guys, my mind boggles at the crap you put up with. For the record -- I bought 3 handguns day before yesterday and they'll arrive at my front door on Tuesday (if UPS does what they say they're going to do)

I'm hoping things soon change for the better in this nation ... but my hopes are dashed - routinely.
