Default May 29-30, 2011 - ADVANCED POINT SHOOTING PROGRESSIONS - Reno, NV

Suarez International presents...

ADVANCED POINT SHOOTING PROGRESSIONS with SI Staff Instructor Roger Phillips
Sunday and Monday, May 29-30, 2011
Reno, Nevada

This course picks up where the original Point Shooting Progressions course left off. We will pick up the skills that you already own and push them as far as we can go. Speed, draw stroke, movement, and accuracy will be the main focus. Same building block approach, drill after drill pushing the limitations as far as we can possibly push them. Think PSP on steroids!

THIS COURSE REQUIRES STUDENTS ATTEND THE HANDGUN PSP COURSE AS A PREREQUISITE. THIS WILL GIVE US A STUDENT BASE THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF TIME BRINGING THEM UP TO THE LEVEL WE WANT THE CLASS TO RUN AT.

Hi Ammo,

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, Roger requires everyone taking APSP to take PSP first. The reason for this is that if someone hasn't been exposed to the basic PSP curriculum first, they generally are behind the curve when it comes to the advanced material. You really need to have a solid foundation in the basic PSP skill sets before moving to the advanced class. After two days of PSP, most people are fine. Without it, most people have a hard time keeping up.
