Exclamation FALCON Tactical Pistol II Course - April 9 & 10, 2011 Corona, CA

This course is designed to push you to the limit and beyond with your pistol. Falcon will teach you how to shot faster & more accuracly under pressure. You will be faced with mentally working through tactical situations, team movements, shooting on the move, shooting from vehicles, problem solving principals. Essentially, there is no box to think outside of. You will also be tasked with live fire shoot house situations that you must work through both systematically and dynamically, solo and with a team member. Thus, presenting the issue if you were asleep and heard noises inside your house while the entire family is sleeping.

Day 1 will run long so that we will be able to experience low light shooting. Although this course is not dedicated to low light shooting we believe it is vital that you be able to shoot in darkness. Students will be given the chance to take lunch and dinner breaks.

We highly recommend having 2 lights. 1 – weapons mounted light (your holster must accommodate the light) 2- hand held with push button activation (holster is preferred) (ex. Surefire G2 w/ Belt Holster)

Duration: 2 Day

Time Day 1: 08:00 – 21:30 Hours

Time Day 2: 09:00 – 17:00 Hours

Operational Tempo: Moderate / High

Prerequisites: Tactical Pistol I or Equivalent from a Reputable Training Organization (Please contact us for verification of reputable training facilities)

Topics covered are as follows:
Tactical Mindset
Weapons manipulation
Offensive vs. Defensive shooting
Increased rate of fire
Multiple target engagements (paper & steel)
Body mechanics & positional shooting (natural / improvised)
Use of cover & concealment
Shooting on the move
Shooting from vehicles
Concealed & Exposed carry shooting
Live fire scenarios
Team tactics
Live fire shoot house situations
Low Light / No Light shooting

Requirements to Attend Course:
Open mind & willingness to learn
Ability to follow simple instructions
Ability to reproduce simple instructions
Demonstrate the 6 safety principals at all times
Functional pistol chambered in 9mm, .40 Cal or .45 ACP
Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the Falcon Security range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a refund on their tuition

Equipment Required:
Handgun & Min 7 magazines
Ammo = 1000 min (1200 rounds recommended)
Hip holster & Magazine pouches
Thigh holster if applicable
Belt to support the holster & magazine pouches
Eye protection (must be wrap around style)
Hearing Protection
Cleaning Kit & Lubrication
Weapons light & hand held w/ spare batteries & bulbs
Proper Clothing suited for time of year & demographics (no shorts please)
Proper foot wear (no sneakers, tennis shoes or sandals)
Hat (baseball style)
Sunscreen (weather depending)
Rain gear (weather depending)
Snivel gear / Cold (weather depending
Knee / Elbow pads (optional)
Water (you must stay hydrated no matter what the weather)
Brown bag lunch (we do not leave the range)
Insect Spray
Pen & Paper for note taking

$325.00 per Student (includes range fee)

Just signed up. Been wanting to take a class with you guys for a while and it just so happened I have some vacation time from work this weekend. Worked out great. See you on the range.

I'm taking this course again and a couple of shooting buddies have also signed up due to my recommendation -- AAR: FALCON Tactical Pistol 2 on June 26-27, 2010. Ah, I didn't know about a 15% discount... Ah well. $325 is a great price for 2 full days of training
