Default SHOT Show 2011 @ CSTACTICAL.COM

FYI We will be out of the office next week because we will be at SHOT Show 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. Even though we will be out of the office, we will still be looking to serve you by bringing you videos, photos, and interviews each day while we are there. We have created a SHOT Show 2011 category on our CS Tactical Online Magazine.

While there will be a strong emphasis on "Optics" in our SHOT Show coverage, we will have non-optic related content from the trade show as well. For those of you that can't be there, we hope you enjoy it!

CST ONLINE MAGAZINE CONTEST:

We will be tracking the number of comments posted on the CS Tactical Online Magazine between 1.16.10 and 1.23.10. The user with the most comments at the end of the week will win a Vortex Solo R/T Tactical Monocular 8x36! Second and third place users will win CS Tactical apparel. Winners will be announced on Monday, January 24th, 2011 on the blog. Please read and understand the guidelines posted on our website:

Got the following email today. Thought I'd share it below... (FYI We'll have a video from Premeir's booth up our blog tonight)

Thanks,

Mason @ CST

Today at SHOT Show, Premier Reticles announced two new scopes: one CQB 1.1-8x24mm tactical scope; and the company's first scope designed and built specifically for hunters (3-15x50mm).

Please see below for new product announcements for both scopes, and if you can make it to booth #5108 at SHOT Show, please come on by and introduce yourself.

Thanks,
Danny Pettey
for Premier Reticles

Premier Reticles Enters Hunting Market with New Long Range Hunting Scope

Las Vegas, Nev.—January 18, 2011—Today at SHOT Show Booth #5018, Premier Reticles made its foray into the world of hunting and announced the Premier Heritage 3-15x50mm Hunter Scope. Premier Reticles is well-known in the tactical market for making high-quality long-range sniper precision scopes, and is now making a shift into hunting with the introduction of the first big game hunting scope good enough to be called Premier.

Premier Reticles’ first hunting scope owes its pedigree to the same German optical engineering as the sniper scopes the company builds for the United States Marine Corps. Handcrafted in the USA, the Premier Heritage Hunter Scope is precise, well-built and as rugged as they come. And the five-time magnification delivers an uncompromising field-of-view throughout the power range.

“There are high-end hunting scopes available on the market, but none had the Premier name on it,” said Chris Thomas, President of Premier Reticles. “We wanted to change that and come out with something to really raise the benchmark in the industry. We are confident that we’ve lived up to our incredibly high standards and 65 years of optical experience with the introduction of our new Premier Heritage hunting scope.”

For more information about Premier’s new offering to the world of hunting, please contact Danny Pettey atdannyp@sasquatchagency.com. If you’re at SHOT Show, come visit us at Booth #5018. Visit us online atwww.premieroptic.com.

From Five Feet to 500 Yards: Premier Reticles’ New Tactical Scope Delivers Revolutionary Precision

Las Vegas, Nev.—January 18, 2011—There’s a new world order for CQB scopes. Today Premier Reticles announced the availability of the first tactical riflescope in the company’s V8 Series: The V8 1.1-8x24mm. This innovative, nimble unit lets shooters toggle between two unique sighting systems in the moment, without altering firing posture in the slightest.

Premier’s illuminated GEN 2 CQB reticle operates from the first focal plane from 3x to 8x. And when the magnification is set at 3x or below, a projected red dot appears. Together, this unique, two-plane sighting system gives shooters precision from five feet to 500 yards.

“The new V8 tactical scope was built based on feedback directly from the field,” said Chris Thomas, President of Premier Reticles. “Having a more versatile tactical scope that could go from long-range to short range, quickly and easily, is a need, and we felt like our experience with custom-sighting options in the tactical world gave us the ability to meet that need. This is an extremely adaptable scope that we know tactical shooters will appreciate.”

The US-built V8 1.1-8x24 is based on a rugged one-piece main tube that is 34mm diameter and constructed from 6061- T6 aircraft aluminum. All internal parts are precision-machined to matching tolerances, providing exacting performance, reliability and movement. All Premier riflescopes come with a fully-transferable lifetime warranty and are backed by more than six decades of customer satisfaction.

The new addition to Premier Reticles’ tactical line of scopes will be available for purchase in September of 2011.

For more information about Premier’s new V8 Series offering, please contact Danny Pettey atdannyp@sasquatchagency.com. If you’re at SHOT Show, come visit us at Booth #5018. Visit us online atwww.premieroptic.com.

Half a dozen times Tuesday I couldn't get through an aisle because you guys were taping someone.

Not that you were the only ones who think the aisles are for standing around in.
