Default Norinco SKS date of manufacture?

I am waiting on a Norinco SKS and am wondering about the year of manufacture so I can enter it into my C&R bound book if necessary.

It has a milled trigger guard and threaded on barrel. The little triangle thing next to the serial number has a 3 in it. Three Chinese characters are on the receiver. The serial number is 21000xx.

you read wrong. norinco sks are not c&r, in fact i do not know of any norinco made firearm that is c&r since norinco was founded in 1980.

Deja vu. Like we just went over this.

Norinco (Chinese) SKS are not C&R and therefore do not need to be entered into your bound book. Interesting how this comes up while you are waiting on the rifle. I hope that wait is at an 01FFL.

Based on the SN the year "should" be 1958. However, that is not confirmed by the Chinese, so in a strange reality it could be a 1992 for all we really know.
