Default New semi-auto 50bmg upper on ar-15

just found this site, hope it isn't a dupe

http://www.soldiersystems.net/2010/0...-tactilite-t2/

Now more than ever, I want to get a 50bmg upper. I wonder how long till a 50DTC can be made?

MrKubota has BMG ammo for under $3/round AFAIK, and ammoman has BMG ammo down to $2.3/round.

And J&G Sales has it for $2 a round (plus shipping) if you buy at least 300 rounds.

newly purchased .50BMG RIFLES are restricted. But if you have a registerd AR-15 lower, you can use that .50BMG upper without violating the law. And the OP wished for a .510DTC chambering, which is legal in CA on newly made Off-list lowers.

I saw it for $3 at lax range. I think it was $30 for a box of 10.

How much do you want? I'll play middle man and make some cash selling it to you for $3/round.

You'd have to get it in .50DTC as you can't put a .50BMG upper on a OLL. From my understanding it'd have to be a registered AW or lower registered as a .50BMG to be legal in CA.

There is a good thread on this here: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=190502

That upper does look sweet though! It reminds me of the Safety harbor mag fed, bolt action BUT BETTER!

They wont ship the .50BMG to kalifornia but they will ship the .416 Barrett, or the .338 Lapua to us.

I have an OLL that is also a registered 50BMG. It is not a RAW though. I CAN and do put my 50BMG upper on my OLL while in Ca. There's always exceptions to "the rules" and I am only on of several who have registered 50BMG OLLs.

Me too. If you thought that one handgun a month was expensive you should have tried loading up on 50s when Arnold bent us over and signed AB50.

I'll sell you some BMG for $3.00 a round if you want to pay that much. It's down to $1.87 a round these days.

I don't think prices have hit rock bottom yet. I think AIM is the first to offer the low price, but I have a feeling everyone else's prices will drop before the year is over.
