Scott, do you recommend these scopes for a sub $500 scope? Do you carry them or do you recommend something else in this price range?
I shoot out to 300 yards at my local range and I am trying to find something that will work out to that range that will not break the bank. I usually use shoot n c targets and can see hits at 200 yards with my crossfire riflescope but not out to 300.... TIA! |

I love Vortex products, but have never been a fan of their spotters, with the exception of the Razor HD.
I like the Nikon Prostaff spotters for a budget spotter, the 16-48x65 for $400 for Calgunners. Scott

Scott, thank you for the honest answer.
The others I was looking at were the Kowa 601/602 or the Kowa 82sv. I know they cost more but would those allow to see hits at 300 yards or would the Nikon prostaff serve me just fine? Thank you again! |

Of the two, I'd lean to the 82SV, as it will definitely work well, even beyond 300 yards, and will resale easily.
But, I do believe the Prostaff will work OK. Out to 300. Scott I use a TSN 603 for my range work for 300 yards. Scott
