I have a bone stock mil spec lower, middle of the road 16" upper and when I dropped in a used Ceiner conversion kit it worked great. I have 3 BDM mags, and always fill them to capacity (10) I have yet to have an issue. I did a little ammo research before hand and have been running the American Eagle .22 ammo without any issues. Fairly accurate too.

I'm having the same problem with my kit/setup. Used Federal, Remington, CCI Minimag all high velocity rounds in varying magazines. Ran it dry, and drenched, cleaned several times.
CMMG sent me a replacement kit. I'm still having the same problem with my kit/setup. The guys at the "costa mesa rifle dispensary on harbor" are helping me figure out the problem, I gave them both kits to troubleshoot. They had some luck running it wet, and they have contacted CMMG for a solution as well. Regardless, the other reviews I've seen for the CMMG kit were near perfect. I'm not the type to bash a company for a defect in their product, especially when they have excellent customer services to remedy any inconsistencies. I don't see any reason to settle for less. Has the OP had any luck with any of the recommendations? Someone mentioned trimming the recoil spring by three rungs at a time. I'm up for suggestions, but curious how that would work (honestly asking, not trying to criticize)? I've also searched other threads on ARFcom and others, nobody seems to have a solution. I currently have both Spike's and CMMG's. My CMMG's works better than my Spike's originally, until I tuned the Spike's using my CMMG as a blue print. Now both of them are running quite flawlessly.
So, if you are looking for tuning tips, try to also check out Spike's industry forum on arfcom. They are identical designs. OP, have you tried trimming the recoil spring? A lot of people have to do that with Spike's, to the point that they supply an additional spring with their kit. Trimming the spring generally solves a lot of the feeding issues. I have seen some "mod" to slightly deblur the chamber and feed ramp etc.

Swap the hammer spring with a JP lightweight spring before trimming the recoil spring.

To the OP, you probably have to create a smooth lip on the chamber. On my CMMG the bullet kept getting caught on the chamber which created feeding issues and bent bullets. After taking a dremel to the chamber, 80% of the issues went away. I noticed the Spikes kit already has the chamber deburred so if you know anyone with the spikes conv. you'll see what I'm talking about.
