Wow, how refreshing to have an out-of-state vendor support us Californians instead of just saying, "Sorry, no sales to California." California is the front-line, thanks for your support!

I was around when he wouldn't sell and like every other manufacture he had good reason not to. But after coming to be enlightened, he not only donated but became a member and personally came on calguns to say thanks for the bringing the fight and promised an annual donation, now if we can convince him to pull a Barret and refuse all sales and service to Ca law enforcement agency's.

Scanning the check and allowing everyone to see sets a great example for other people to donate as well. You might look at it as not being genuine, but it probably ends up helping the cause more thanks to it being public.

Is it also an attempt to drum up some business from California gun owners on Marks part? Sure, it probably is. That's what businesses do, profit is the goal. If he really wanted that money to add to his business some clever advertising could have worked just as well, but he decided to give it to CGF because he can see its a good cause.

We appreciate all your help Mark! You've earned yourself a new customer!

Some of you guys make it sound like he outright refused to "deal" with CA when the only thing they didn't sell to CA was their lowers. Mark has been educated, he learned and he changed his policies on the lowers. Ontop of that, hes helping us with our fight to regain our rights. Seems like some of you guys need to move on as well.

Holy crap!

Can't afford any LaRue products on my wish list right now, but I think I know where my upper and the rest of my build is going to come from.

In the meantime, I think a donation of my own is in order.

Yeah the first $24K could have been seen as a publicity stunt. This pretty much shows commitment. He made me a believer. I might need to get a LaRue rifle in the safe now.

WOW! Good going, Mark. I will continue to be supporter of your products, both by word and deed.

Time to hit the website and see what I can squeeze in for an order before I blow the rest on the Christmas budget.

Right on. When LaRue is ready to sell the OSR to CA residents, believe me I'll be placing an order. In the meantime, I think I'll go with an LT15-12 and LT202-1 for my next build. Thank you, sir, for your support.

Mark, it's been said many times before in this thread, but I have to say it again...

You FRIGGIN' ROCK!

As soon as I hit post on this reply I am going over to LaRue Tactical and place an order. I encourage everyone else to do the same. I know there are some here that may not appreciate your "wit", and may be steadfast against supporting you or your company, but right now you have a product even they can appreciate... The Fort Hood Fundraiser BET.

Default Leadership.

Mark LaRue is setting the standard for the other gun manufacturers.

These is awesome, came at a great time.

If other manufacturer's would follow, we could cure the VD(Victim Disarmament) pandemic we have in this state.

Can you point to where this is listed? The last I heard they still wouldn't sell to us even through an out of state FFL. I really hope I'm wrong, but I haven't seen it posted anywhere that someone from California can call LT and order a lower, even if you have it shipped to a 3rd party 1st.

the fact remains that NO ONE can purchase a LaRue lower unless they already have a complete upper. this applies to all states.
if you have a complete upper, call LaRue and see if they will send you a lower.

otherwise its a moot point.
