OK well seems how this seems to be turning into more of a free for all shoot then anything... I'll probably just plann a smaller Zombie Shoot some time later. My original intent of helping out was to help set this up to be like a 3 gun/tactical rifle match at the beginning, but it appears nobody is really interested in that

Not a problem gives me more time to make more targets and stuff

Weekendwarrior, If you want to swing by my house I'll hand off all the Raffle stuff to you if you think you'll still do a raffle...

Well if you did not go you missed out on a great time had by all. looked to be about 40 people there. Had tons of fun. first one there first one back what do I win.

Raffle was great got some decent funds to donate.

Wish I could have stayed all night.

The ammo vendor was great and had great prices,$20 per 100 for 7.62x39 and he drove 280 miles to be there. He had .45,9mm etc all the common stuff. You guys who dont reload should do some group buys with him.

All well cant wait to see the vids and pics take care,Rob.

In the car now just left. The shoot was Awesome! When we left people were putting tannerite out with glowsticks and there was even a lighted turning Zombie target! I had so much fun- thanks to everyone who helped put the event together. I will post more about it tonight or tomorrow because I need to get home and get some beer in me. It was really nice meeting all of you and I can't wait to do it again.

Default Sorry, folks, I couldn't make it.

My apologies for having RSVP'd and then not making it.

I thought I'd make a quick run through the gun show at the cow palace this morning to pick up a couple of tactical mounting flashlights for my handguns, for the night shoot, but something happened... I found a FNAR heavy barrel .308 that I couldn't resist. Having spent 10x what I had planned, I thought it would be best to come home and get some housework done for my wife.

I'm still alive, so I think I chose well; and I get to keep my new toy!

Default Well I got back....

Well I got back from my first and I hope not may last. Calguns shoot. Man, it was fun. Me and my son went through 2500+ rounds and 20 lbs of tannerite. Shot and blew up allot of Zombies. What a great group of guys who like to shoot. And that’s what its all about. Shooting our guns and having a great time doing so. It was very well organized(thanks WeekendWarrior) I am looking forward to the next Calguns event.

We left after sundown, and we had a great time. My shoulder is sore, too much shotgun, lol. It was good meeting everyone, we didnt venture off to far down the line to meet people, we were the guys on the far left on the other side of the road. You can count me in on the next shoot, i really needed this day to get away for a bit, and it was the perfect cure.

Had a great time today. It was nice seeing some familiar faces along with the new. I cant believe how many people showed up it was GREAT!

What would be nice is to tell everyone who you are just so we can match the face with the screen name. I'm the loud, bearded guy who was shooting on the right side of the road if your looking downrange.

Bob you missed a great shoot, it would have been fun having you there.

We just got back from the shoot and It was awesome even though I think the raffle was fixed! j/k

What great bunch of guys! It was nice meeting everyone and I cant wait for the next shoot, especially if it turned out as nice is this one did. There were no injury's or damaged property that I heard of. Nobody suffered injury or damage from falling tannerite debris that I know of except for maybe a little pumpkin juice! The korean rocket was also pretty bad ***!

A special thanks to everyone who set this shoot up and to the Ammo Guy who drove up from the Los Angeles area. It really was a great event!
I have about 600 pics to sort through and will be starting another thread so they are easier to access.
Thnx again
Ed

A great day out! We were in the Cadillac on the left side of the road. It was awesome putting some faces to the screen names. I can't wait for the next one, I'll be there for sure. Special thanks to Jason (Tango5) and his crew for helping us out with the roadside assistance and LEO negotiation , WeekendWarrior for the organization and Aron for the Mosin advice and stripper clips I think I'm a 54R convert!

Absolutely. It was sort of sensory overload today but I tried to enjoy a little bit of everything. Looking forward to the zombie three-gun match next time!

I was the guy wearing multicam ACUs who did the first few raffle drawings until the skeptic raffle mutiny took place. The North Korean rocket, v. 4.0 had to have gone higher than any rocket the North has ever launched before. I was stationed next to the ammo man Aaron - happy birthday and thanks for making the drive! Best shoot I have been to in the last couple of years.

The clean up sucked, whoever thought it would be a great idea to blow up that phonebook needs to see me next time. When they surgically remove my boot from their azz then we can talk like civil people.
Diginit and I walked around for 3 hours cleaning that place up. We really could've used that rake, especially for the guys shooting to our extreme left who left a couple hundred shotgun shells and brass. We got most of it.

I know I cleaned up all my stuff before it got dark. I think next time we should make sure to clean everything before dark, at night we really don't need any targets. This way we have less to clean up via flashlight.

Thanks for cleaning up.

I'm missing my heads , you guys didn't happen to see them out there did you. When I cleaning out my truck this afternoon I realized they were 2 missing. I was sure we threw them in there . My neighborhood kids probably took them out of the back of my truck .

I saw one out there after you left but forgot to go back and pick it up. You guys were the only smart ones who brought a rake, luckily I used it before you left. Thanks btw
