Yeah, the 16oz isn't available (which is a heck of a lot BTW). Go for the 4oz instead http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=220438

I personally use CLP then finish up the bolt with Mobil 1 synthetic, buy 1 & it will last you for a very very long time just as how I use the mobil 1 synthetic for my Corvette.

There are better lubes than BF CLP out there. The problem with CLP is that they put too much solvent in it which makes it too runny and dry up quickly causing you to relube sooner. CLP is field expedient solution for when you're in a pinch, its best to run a dedicated lubricant.

Remember, the military switched from LSA (a far better lube) and bore solvent to CLP to help keep down costs and simplify logistics.

CLP: a bottle full of compromise that does nothing well.

For quick lubrication I have CLP, but I hate that stuff. Whenever I run out of it I am going to buy Slip 2000 EWL. The lubrication I am running most of the time is grease which has worked great. That stuff stays on forever but it seems it would be pretty good at attracting dirt. For hobby shooting grease works great.

Before:
- FP10
* Still use FP10, Just depends on what pack/bag I have.

PREFER NOW & FOREVER:

Mobile 1 Synthetic
- Synthetic Oil w/ Squeeze Bottle Works
&
- Synthetic Grease mixed with Mobile 1 Syn. Oil [Red Stuff]
* Thins it out a bit, but stays were you want it.

Have a great one.
