I gotta question.....is it mall ninja if you have actual body armor but you don't duct tape SAPI plates to your back?

Not sure we'll have the space for it. They are pretty big and 20 would take up quite a bit.

I'll be riding with my buddy in his Cherokee and we were packed to the gills last time. (sometimes I end up bringing everything except the kitchen sink)

Hmmm....maybe I'll rent a trailer and we can haul a bunch...more....

Too bad kevlar is is monitored to the point of being illegal, We just can't protect ourselves nowadays..... I'll bring some fire wood and a fire permit. We could use some more wood. Don't forget the extinguishers and shovels, For 2 reasons.

How much do you want to spend? You can go from 350 up to over 1K.
The cheaper the heavier the vest and bulkier. You get into the expensive stuff and they are way lighter and breathe really well.
Mine was 600$ and rides in a carrier. It's a IIIa rating. If you buy armor make sure it's NIJ rated.

Actually , it is, I was talking kevlar panels to be taped on our backs. Gangbangers have been lining their car doors with it for a while and it is regulated. Who Knew?

How much do you need?

I contacted a company about getting some and they said it wasn't a problem. When I was looking at houses I didn't have the money to get into a "nice" nieghborhood so I was gonna line the out sidewalls and ceiling. also looking into acryllic windows.
Non of that stuff was an issue. No permits no licenses. Just state purpose and it's all good. The lacy was really understanding. m=Maybe I worry too much but my kids are important to me.
