Default Thesues Open Carry legal defense fund "money bomb" - please donate TODAY!

In case you weren't aware, at this very moment, one of our fellow Californians is on trial. Thesues needs our support, and for most of us the only way to do this is financially.

My goal is to give his defense fund a $5,000 boost in one day. I think this is a modest goal.

As many of you already know, the CalGuns Foundation is facilitating donations to this cause. Any excess funds not used for Thesues' case will be donated to CGF.

Please visit my thread over on OpenCarry.org for more information about the case: http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum66/33669.html

If you want to go directly to the donation website hosted by CGF, please click the following link: http://www.calgunsfoundation.org/ind...pen-carry-case

It's been more than 50 years since the US Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional to require a test and a tax for people to exercise their right to vote. Why is my right to carry a gun any different? I don't want a permission slip from a bureaucrat; I don't want to pay a tax or take a test. "Shall issue" is NOT good enough.

$20 is all I can give right now since the house needs a new roof and property taxes are due. Anyway, this is a case worth fighting and winning.

A sticky would be very much appreciated.

Also wanted to add, as mentioned in the thread over on OpenCarry.org I donated $10, and will make another $10 donation if we reach $5,000 within 24 hours. (Don't laugh, I've been unemployed since January, so that's the best I can do right now!)

To show my appreciation, I'm also pledging to donate $10 to CGF's general fund, with an addition $10 if we hit our goal. (Though I'll have to wait until next month before I can actually make these donations.)

No need to be shy about "small" donations. Hell, if only half of the members here and at OpenCarry.org donated only $5, we would easily hit our goal.

Every little bit helps, and I'm certain that every donation is greatly appreciated.

(Perhaps I should add that I do not represent Thesues in any way; in fact, I've never met him. I just see a courageous man in need, and am doing what I would hope others would do for me if I were in his shoes.)

Only on appeal and only after incorporation and even then it would be a hard expensive fight.

Open Carry doesn't do GunPal? Their link goes to paypal. I would like to use Gunpal from now on whenever possible.

I'll admit, that UOC is a is a controversial issue that is I believe is best avoided right now, let’s let some of the current cases shake out.

That being said, I'm not going to let another Calgunner be destroyed by overzealous, politically motivated, prosecution...

It’s not much, but I'm in for $25.00....

GOOD LUCK!

If you want to donate using GunPal, just send a payment to donate@calgunsfoundation.org through your GunPal account.

Put "Theseus Defense Fund" in the comments box so they know what it's for.

From my count, it's about $1200 (not including those who didn't state their donation amount, and not including those who may have donated and simply not posted at all).

Oh, and not including posts from OpenCarry.org

So, I guess the answer is... I don't know... perhaps someone with CGF has easy access to an official number...
