Default anyone with a spot welder in southern OC/ Northern SD counties?

I finally got my coldsteel PSL blank in, Im going to need to find someone that can help me spotweld the rails and rear reinforcing plates, havent done anything to it yet, gonna start drilling cutting this weekend but that will be my biggest hold up.

not sure what gauge it is, it is 4130 steel .64 thickness. Has anyone else built thon it ane of these, was just examining the reciever and my front trunnion is extremely tight, dont know If I'll need to remove some metal to install the front trunnion. Still in the Planning stages of this really, I wish I had been able to get my hands on a 100% PSL reciever because then I know I could build it with no problems, this will be my first 80% or less reciever build

I'm pretty sure that you can't just have one of your workers do it for him without him actually being present. I believe it is acceptable to receive help in the process of doing things but he needs to be present while any and all help is being done.

Perhaps some of the more experienced homebuilders will chime in shortly...

does installing the rails make this a Reciever? cause right now it is just a bent piece of sheet metal.

You are correct. I'd want the same myself. I can't bring him in for insurance purposes. God forbid something fly's off the machine and hits him in the eye and my *** is grass especially in this economy...I don't think so.
