Politely correct me if I'm wrong. I just want to know for sure. I could go for another Mosin from AIM.
yeah, youre right.

im not talking about a group buy, just a bulk buy. these will be for myself and my friends, on shooting trips that i am attending, and i will retain all ownership and possession, except when actually out shooting, at which time they will be loaned.
and theres no way i could afford that crate for at least...(cipherin') 3 paychecks if i eat only top ramen and drink only tap water and thunderbird(sparingly).

definitely not going to turn any rifles around, so get it outta yer heads!!!

That's odd, it was $1999 this morning....

Ah, I see what happened. You guys bought them all (now showing out of stock) and they raised the price for the next batch.

Tim

That guy that is starting a club at sandy eggo already has his C&R, I'm pretty sure he was ready to go pretty soon. My paperwork just came in the mail today.. so I'm gonna be at the tail end of the wagon.

But, I did find a lot of good sites for different plate engraving so I can get a plate made that says "In Case of Zombies, Break Glass" hehe, lol my wife is never going to allow this in our house....

I'm hoping to line the bottom with 7.62x54r and maybe lay the bayonets along the sides..

One of those crates with the lid removed & replaced with a sheet of glass would make an awesome coffee table...

M-N's are great guns. But you guys are missing the ball here. Time to order ammo, not duplicate guns.

Five years ago it was like $40 for a 440 round can. What will it be five years from today? Just don't get stuck with 20 Mosin-Nagants and no ammo when the price of the ammo goes up.

Just avoid that "BLUE" indicating Silica Gel. It contains Cobalt Chloride which is listed as a "Hazardous material" in the UK and is bad for environment. Use the "ORANGE" indicating Silica Gel as it does NOT contain Cobalt Chloride... this place also sells in 4.5LB or 55LB bags:

i'm sure everyone is just biting their nails to know what i actually have done as far as bulk buying , so i figured id post an update...

money has been tighter than expected, so i havent gone as big as i intended to. gotta save for a rainy day. what i have gotten so far, is what i believe to be a great deal. just so everyone knows a ballpark figure for their mosin nagant purchases, 3 m91/30's with round receivers, bayonets and all the little toiletries they come with, one of them "handpicked" (just to test the waters, and see if it's worth it,) shipped to my door from AIMSurplus, comes in at a few dollars short of $300. awesome. so given the flexibility in my budget, and my stellar fiscal (ir)responsibility,i can swing three every paycheck (two week pay periods)! also got a couple crates of surplus ammo, for a grand total of 1760rd, if the calculator inside my pea-brain is still calibrated properly... that ought to hold me over for two weeks, i think... now i just need to stock up on some stripper clips, and i should be good to go! ill post up the condition of the rifles when they get here, but im thinking theyre gonna be good. the folks over at AIMSurplus seem to run a tight ship!

In the past month I've purchased 18 Mosin's, Finn, Russian and a Polish, M91, M91/30, M38, M44s.

It was an impulse buy, 13 came from one guy, the rest were from three other folks.

Haha, yea but my account went down a little bit, that C&R is getting a heck of a work out and so is my log book.

I forgot that some of those Finn's were M39's also, doh, one of those moments, must be the cosomoline.
