Default What is your most faithful pistol?

In your personal experience, which one of your pistol have been most faithful? The one that always been on your hip when you carry or the one that has shot through thousands of round in range and never fail you.

My most faithful pistol in my Glock 22. It's not the most expensive nor most fancy one in my collection but it's had gone with me to range almost every time and over 4~5k rounds of any cheap range ammo or HP defense ammo and never fail me once.

For me it's been my Sig 220. If I had to have only one this would be it. I've got over 8,000 rounds through it. I had maybe two or three times where it needed a tap and rack in the first 5,000 rounds. I sent it back to get some surfaces polished and have over 3,000 rounds that have been flawless. I've tried to limp wrist it and it still works flawlessly. It just has proven to be very reliable. I swallows any ammo I've given it with no problems. I'm sure other makes and models will do the same but this is the one I have tried for myself. Also, I just like the 45 ACP round for a whole lot of important and unimportant reasons.

I would have said Glock except I futz with all the springs so it's failed before, 100% my fault.

The one that has seen the most rounds and stayed 100% reliable, however, is my P226. I have other 100% guns but none near the round count of this pistol.

My Beretta Px4 Storm .40S&W.

It was my first gun, and it's still my most reliable. If I were to ever carry outside of my house, I'd carry that.

While I had only a few stovepipe jams with my Colt 1911, my new HK45 is my go to now. 2K+ rds so far and no jams or problem. I see many problems with Glocks in competition, but I suspect the culprit is reload ammo.

S&W 5906. It will shoot any factory type bullets jacketed or lead and I haven't ran across any bullet profile that it won't feed. Well, I haven't tried wadcutters yet.

For the past 9 years it has been a Glock 32. But for the past 3 months and going forward the G32 has been replaced by a HK USP Compact 9mm.

The Sig .45 and its sister, the Hammerli. It's nice that they feed all brands of ammo without a hitch.

However faithful, I'm still wild about my Colt 1911s. Nothing draws me more than that traditional blue...

That's the spirit! Roll a dice, number 1-5 for Glock .40s. #6 gets you a 1911.

Ruger P85 9mm NEVER had a problem whatsoever with that gun. Nothing broke misfired failed to feed etc. Ive shot all sorts of 9mm from steel case to brass to alluminum and sometimes a mix of the three at the same time.

My Les Baer TRS is the most faithful gun I currently own. It has 13,000+ rounds through it and runs 99.999% of the time. Here is a pict of it. Ignore the Glock.

Gen2 Glock 19. It feels like gripping a deck of cards in my hand, but after more than 10,000 rounds through it(most of it the cheapest and dirtiest I can find) I've had not a single malfunction of any kind. Also, I just about never clean it. It's the Energizer Bunny of Handguns...

USP-40f or XD-9 service, bought them both around the same time and both have never had one hickup. I do favor my XD a bit more as it is a little modded
