Got my TR24 today, holy crap, quite a step up from the Millet DMS. Anyone want one . Great price and got here really quick. Scott will always get first shot at my optic business.

Thanks,
Tom

I am currently saving for one of these Accupoint 3-9x40 but would like your input on a question I have. I want the standard crosshair but am not sure which color to go with for the dot. Can you give me any advise or at the very least tell me which works best in all light conditions from bright to dim?

Your pricing by the way is Awesome and I am saving you as a book mark now so I can buy from you. Hopefully it will be just after Christmas time.

Thanks,
Richard

Richard,

The crosshair series only can be had in amber or green. Green works best in very low/no light, IMO, but I like amber for general field use.

We have all these in stock for $459 delivered (NOT the picket post models)

If you had to choose one color for all uses in the standard cross hair version what would it be?

How is the green in field use bright light.

I am partial to the green myself and not real fond of the amber to be honest but i have no experience with it. I am basing this solely on what i see via Trijicons site. It just does not seem as though the amber is very visible.

By the way thanks for taking the time to answer me. Much appreciated

I think the green gets lost easier in foliage or any green forested or pasture environment. You can always turn the intensity down with the collar on the ocular. I'll take both out tomorrow and compare them here...the amber might be a problem in fall foliage.

Too bad they don't use red!

Yeah that's what i really want. Oh well sometimes you just have to adapt to what they give you. I really do appreciate what your doing for me. I did not even think about the foliage blend in.

What is the difference between the 1X4 and the 1.24 x4? and why the price difference?

The 1-4x has true 1x, 30mm tube, better knobs, and constant eye relief.

The 1.25-4x is a 1-inch tube, has mushier/smaller turrets, and variable eye relief (which is still longer than the 1-4x).

You'd have to ask Trijicon why the price difference. These are reflected in dealer prices.
