I am located in HB and will need to have them shipped.

What can you do with the Sten kits? Are they buildable, replacement receivers somewhere out in Internet Land?

1. Build a semi-auto-only version that complies with current law(s)...

2. Keep as historical artifact in a WWII collection....

3. Build a non-gun replica

4. Study design and construction aspects for one of the world's simplest subguns, satifying intellectual curiosity (this is my 16 yo son's view)

5. Hold for new Heller-related developments in US law that will remove unConstitutional bans on subguns...

6. Use as spare parts for a registered STEN subgun (this only is relevant in Free America)

7. Use to build a STEN subgun using a pre-'86 BATF-"registered" tube (this also only is relevant in Free America)

8. Use to build a "dealer sample" STEN subgun (this also only is relevant in Free America, and only for licensed Class III manufacturers)

My apologies. Your emails ended up in my SPAM folder.

Will you accept discrete PayPal? I'm currently out of town on vacation, I'll return Monday and will be able to make a payment by then.

Thanks!

Default sten mags in m-11

To answer the question about using sten mags in a mac 11. You can buy grip housings for the m-10 and m-11 that allows the use of standard m-3 grease gun mags in the m-10 and standard sten mags in the 9mm version of most all mfg`s of these guns, here is the link to the site where they have all these goodies

Also was on CalGuns on the 25th, with PM waiting.

No recent responses to PMs or emails.

Is something wrong?

One more day, and you get a negative feedback from me on the SKS mag parts kits deal.....

For obvious reasons of buying a kit and assembling I can understand the illegal aspect.

For the 30 round magazine on an SKS if the magazine was purchased before 1999 and your kit is to repair that magazine, is it still illegal? Am I missing something here?

You are making it sound like having one of these installed on an SKS is illegal rather than having a magazine you did not own before 1999 that is over 10 rounds as being illegal.

So are the large magazines on and SKS illegal? Are using your parts on such a magazine illegal?

Certainly for an uncomplicated life it is best just not to mess with but.....

....I wonder,......Calguns wonders.......The world wonders.....and I bet even those working for LE and DOJ wonder and are confused as well....

A SKS with greater than 10-rnd mag (FIXED or detachable) is a named Assault Weapon in CA.

It's been said that there is no "constructive possession" of parts in CA law....so owning >10rd mags isn't illegal...installing them in CA is....

You are soooo wrong about any sks and 30 round mags. Now that being said the Norinco sks with any size detach mag IS illegal. Russian, yugo, others....there are ways with little effort. Just need to be 922 compliant.
