Default WTS: Type 99's, will ship San Diego

Make:Arisaka

Model: Type 99, Nagoya

Caliber: 7.7 Jap

Location (city or county): San Diego

Price: SPF

Will ship (Y/N): Yes, we'll work it out

here we have a type 99, made by the Nagoya. The mum has been scrubbed and the dust cover is missing but other than that the rifle is completely original with Monopod and aircraft sights. I have used this rifle at the range and it's quite a tack driver. Bluing is in good condition and the original finish is still intact.

This one is the looker, quite a few nice options on this rifle. Aviation sights, Monopod, Dust cover, intact MUM.... the most interesting part is probably the extra attachment on the sights which allows a soldier to flip the sights when using gloves. From the original owner I was told that this rifle was used in the invasion of the aleutians. Like most stories, basically useless without documentation but it was a pretty cool tale. This rifle has all original parts/finish and has remained unfired because I felt it was a bit unique. Upon further inspection it looks as though the dust cover/bolt are both replacements. Would make sense with the story, condensation and such but alas. The replacement cover was fitted properly however, no rattle and not too tight to function so it was likely done at the time.
