I don't think you'll have to worry too much. From your previous posts all you have to do is wait for Larry to fire the first volley of rounds and it'll scare the elk right to you.

I'm going to try and do a very quick run for 4th season. I'm hoping that if Larry does get them moving, Tom or Larry would be willing to tie one to a tree for me... Then again, if it's as warm as it was last year, I'm not even going to think about it.

We'll see though, wife is being stingy with the kitchen passes!

Oh, is that what Tom was referring to when he mentioned a "drive" hunt...? I thought we were just going to watch Larry drive into a fence.

Next day i was settled in and a herd of thirty came into the meadow i was hunting and my buddy decided to up and move to a better spot and scared the heard away, next day same meadow and my buddy sees two huge bulls and yells over to me to let me know , scares them away. One of the bulls was so big i thought at first it was a dude riding a horse that scared the first one off. The last day a group of cows was coming into the meadow and right before they were in position for me to shoot, and the wind swirled around and changed direction and they winded us. That was all she wrote. Unit 70.
