Edit: Already bought another 804
Request an 801 clip from Kershaw on the website, free.

I cannot recall anyone new to flippers being able to get one open all the way the first time I let them try. Assisted openers no problem. I love the 0801 so much I'll probably kick myself for not getting a 0804.

Yeah Kershaw/ZT are really good about sending you parts for free. They won't acknowledge your request by email in my experience, you just fill out the form and a few days later it arrives in the mail. I'm good with that though, no need for pleasantries

That is true. Parts always show up. Benchmade is just as good in that dept too. Both will back the knife you bought. Benchmade has more issues out of the box though, IMHO (comparing ZT to Benchmade). Chinese Kershaws have many minor but expected issues.

Another ZT0456 for my collection. Photo credit to CGer SteveRogers who I got this from on our marketplace, and who you can clearly see is an excellent photographer:

Just bought a OKC3S Marine Multipurpose Bayonet. It is one heck of a nice knife, especially for a bayonet. Actually my favorite knife I own right now.

Not sure if I posted the standard size Recon 1, but the standard size Talwar is new. Very convenient size for EDC defensive blade and a great look with those gnarly serrations. If there are protests and such in the forecast for the day I bring the Talwar XL with me. No need for serrations to dissuade attackers there

Sorry for the blurry pic, I'm impatient and can't wait for natural light

My latest purchase in Barcelona.

I wasn't intending to buy anything like this while travelling, but I was lucky to meet a man from my building speaking great English and he showed me around, that's how I found this shop with knifes and riffles. Do recommend to rent a flat in Spain rather than a hotel room, cheaper and more private.

So um...... should have a package from Midway in a week. Crufflers, I'm gonna toss some blame over to you for the whole Godzilla thing. Soon I'll have a knife that's big and green, thanks to your imagery. No further clues, but real pics (not existing internet pics) in a few days. Something about taking a picture of a pocket knife larger than a standard envelope just....fits the definition of knife porn.

Sorry bout it. Good choice. They are fun. I also have the old 4" that was made out of whatever it was back then... AUS 8A? The XL opens better.

Those B8’s are nice. I keep going back and forth on getting one but then I’m afraid they come out with something I like more it really suck as i usually miss out on buying something due to the way they do things.

HOGB8 is .35" thick INFI... full flat grind. A lot of people call thick knives sharpened pry bars.

I shoulda jumped on the INFI ratweilers. As far as the B8's I'll let you know in a year or so

Im surprised there is not more reading material on the Spyderco Aqua Salt, everyhing ive come across seems to say all the same regurgitated info. i purchased a plain edge Aqua Salt over the weekend excited to see what its limitations are considering it being a softer steel compared to most.

Just thought I'd check in, been a little while. Looks like I missed the B8's (not on Busse's website anymore) but .35"??? Damn. I'd have to say no thanks as well.

Did anyone happen to pick up one of those Busse/SYKCO DOG Soldiers that came out a few months ago? 6.25 inches of INFI that had a nice blade shape and a fuller. I thought that was a really handsome knife. Oh and Res-C handles as well. Would love to see photos if anyone snagged one.

Gratuitous pic: a recently acquired DDM4V7 SLW with an old favorite....SwampRat Ratmandu Prototype (longer blade, full flat grind)
