Default Spyderco Delica 4 vs Endura 4

So it became apparent to me on Friday evening that I need a knife with a serrated edge.

Long story short, on the way to Tahoe, the splash guard on the front of my GF's car fell and was dragging on the freeway. We pulled over, and since I didn't have a star wrench to remove the splash guard, I pulled out my 5.11 Scout Alpha and began to cut.

Unfortunately my Scout Alpha has a straight edge.

Luckily a Ripon PD Sergeant pulled up and asked if I needed help. I said sure, If you have a cutting tool of any sort. He said sure, and gave me his serrated Spyderco, and stated that he had been carrying it for 13 years and had never really used it for anything.
I grabbed that beautiful serrated Spyderco and began cutting through that splash guard like it was a hot knife through hot butter. Gave it back to him, thanked him, and we were on our way

So should I get the Spyderco Delica 4:

Or the Spyderco Endura 4:

I'm leaning towards the Endura 4 due to the increased blade size.

I have to vote Endura, great knife. I've carried some version of it, for a good portion of the last 20 years.

Since he most likely had a SpyderCo Police model, get the Endura.

I also like a combo edge for the very reason of what happened to you.

TBH, the Tenacious sounds like something you would like.

Thanks.
I'm seeing too many "too good to be true" type of prices.

Any reputable retailer should have the real thing, it's amazon with its 20 anonymous sellers I'd worry about.

My serrated dragonfly and delica get the most use.

If I don't buy from Amazon, I use the Cutlery Shoppe out of Idaho.

Delica and Endura are apples and oranges. I have had both. The Delica feels like a nice pocket knife and is very socially acceptable. With the Endura, when I would flip it open, on several occasions, people would make a "whoa" comment.

If you like a smaller knife with a tanto blade, take a look at the Kershaw Brawler. I picked one up for under $20 on Amazon and even though I am still warming up to it....the blade is nice and the construction feels pretty good.

I got mine for $16.99

Edit

Lol, Something like this...

"Whoa..."

I have carried some form of endura for 20 years. The combo blade is nice.
I had the lonewolf model with the glock tool on it for a long time until it got lost. Currently i carry a wolf grey straight blade endura i got on amazon. The key to amazon is buy fullfilled by amazon. Then if there is an issue an easy free return ensues but i havent had an issue.

Yup, after 2 Endura's and 1 Delica lost, I switched to the Tenacious.

And the combo SpyderEdge is the bees knees.

Wow, I sound like flanders lol.

My Delica has been my EDC for several years now---no issues---I choose the shorter blade because many cities don't like blades over three inches long and the Delica is just under three inches of blade...

Have you had any issues with your pocket clip?

I have broken the clip off of every endura i have had besides my current one. The old molded plastic ones sucked because they broke and no more clip.
The new ones are easy to fix. If you lose tension remore the 3 screws and bend it back. Unless it breaks. Then its an issue. I break them because i dont pay attention. Not the knifes fault.

Both are nice.
I prefer the half/half straight/serrated.
I also prefer Tonto blade if available, but not required.

I told you at first to get the Endura lol.

With that said, I settled on the black on black Tenacious combo edge.

Also switched the clip around so that the screws are right next to the base of the blade
