What kind of rifle should i start out with? What caliber?

Am i required to wear blaze orange?

Protective sunglasses?

What kind of decoys and are they worth it?

Do i need a duck call or will they come into feed like, bread if i put it out?

Can you rabbit hunt at the same time?

Just hook up with WetTard - mandatory circle-jerk participation may be required...

I usually recommend and overbore like the 12-6.5-300 Quackerbee MAGNOMNOM. Kicks a bit but the knock down is impressive. Might knock down you and the bird TBH.

Blaze orange sunglasses helps camo your eyes from the ducks at sunrise. You should probably look at a set of Oakley operator glasses for serious work the rest of the day though.

Live decoys are the best. I get them at the neighborhood park and usually just use jumper cables to weigh the birds down. The quacking you get once applying the jumper cable to the duck leg CANNOT BE BEAT! No need for one of those duck calls if you use real decoys, especially with the jumper cable trick. That's enough clamp space for 4 birds in case you were wondering.

Yea, always rabbit hunt on the islands or rice checks. That's what I use the predator call for mostly... calling in Peter and Jack.

Minimum rifle Caliber required is .300 win mag. Some on Calguns will tell you that you can use .223, but that's just unethical for duck hunting. Spoonies are tough bring enough gun. Also you want to be able to reach out at least 500 yrds for those really high sky buster shots. A long beard and an American flag bandanna is also a must as are yeti coolers to put all your ducks in. Good Luck
