NRA and CRPA submitted joint-opposition letters, and DOJ subsequently withdrew their proposal. When they are reissued, this lawsuit will challenge DOJ’s regulations as a violation of California’s Administrative Procedures Act.
Are you sure DOJ is even going to be issuing LCM regulations? It seems to me like they have no intention of replacing the ones they withdrew. Still, it's good to hear you guys are ready to act in the event that they do.

We submitted a public records act request for all communications b/w DOJ and OAL concerning these regs. Those communications indicated that DOJ may very well try to follow up at some point.

Take a look at the declaration in support of our ex parte application in Duncan. It gives a good summary of everything that has happened since the laws were past last year. http://michellawyers.com/wp-content/...ening-Time.pdf

The mag ruling could not have come at a better time, what with the insane leftist Bolsheviks getting ready to go weapons hot.

Stay frosty, my friends

Thank you for the comprehensive update and for representing us in court.
In any briefings or oral arguments on the subject of bullet buttons, has the court been properly appraised of the ridiculous nature of them to begin with? It's very easy for criminals to modify rifles to skirt the law in a matter of minutes with standard tools which completely negates any perceived safety value in fixed magazine laws, and thus only targets law abiding citizens.
Just curious if this has been explained sufficiently to the various courts as we can't assume they understand the technical bits of these matters.
