Default Looking for a private legal discussion

This topic is going to be very vague. I'm wishing to not disclose events that transpired last night, as I don't know the legality of what may or may not have happened.

What i'm looking for is someone who I can message who understand the laws in CA around carrying, possible imminent threats, and legality. The CA gun laws are unknown to me, at very best in the situation I was faced with. Again, I do apologize that I am being vague, but i'm choosing not to potentially incriminate myself based upon decisions I was forced into around circumstances that may or may not have transpired. Any advice given is obviously not being taken as legal counsel, and will not be treated as such.

I had thought of that, but what i'm looking for is more to understand the laws that surround the events that transpired further so that, if i'm ever faced with a situation like this again, I know what better to do, or I know for certain what i'm getting myself into.

That, with the addition that it's labor day, i'm just looking to grasp a better understanding of what may or may not have gone right, wrong, or how any events may have been handled better.

Any conversations you may have with anyone who is not an attorney will not be protected by the attorney client privilege. So, do not discuss your situation with anyone who is not an attorney. You may PM me and I will give you a means to contact me in private so that any discussions we have will be protected. This does not mean that I will agree to represent you or give you any advise, but only that what we discuss and what you disclose to me will be protected.

Again, I advise you to consult an attorney. They will give you the proper legal advice should you encounter the same issue again. If you cannot see the wisdom of this, I have nothing else to say.

Many great lawyers who are CALGUNS friendly. Don't be foolish.

+1 on talking to an attorney.

And hopefully at some point you will be able to/feel comfortable enough to fill us in on the general details. Others may be able to learn from your situation.

Good luck!

I absolutely do see the wisdom in it, and I really hope I didn't come across as brushing off your advice, i'm not in any capacity!

I'm just distraught at the moment, i've got 500 things that need to be done, and they needed to be done yesterday, and this has been thrown at me. my head is spinning, stressed out of my mind, and I know i'm not thinking clearly right now.. I suppose my thought process was, Labor day means it's going to be hard to get in contact with a lawyer, and i'm in need of figuring this out asap.

@SoCal Bob, the link is much appreciated!
